Demonstone's ROOMBA (Run Out Of More Brilliant Appellations)

B. Lovett not only qualifies for the team, he's in it.

I suspect that @Cranky Franky has worked out that all the players in my team have double letters in both their first name and their surname.

To avoid making it too obvious, I went with just the first initial in naming the side.

With names in full, the team reads as follows:

B:       Neville Jetta     Darren Louttit     Matthew Collins

H/B:   Judd McVee     Harrison Petty      Glenn Molloy

C:       Glenn Lovett     Glenn Elliott     Kelly O'Donnell

H/F:    Isaac Weetra     Ross Dillon     Barrie Vagg

F:       Jeff Garlett     Darren Bennett     Terry Gleeson

R:       Darren Jolly     Brett Lovett     Hassa Mann

I/C:    Will Verrall     Barry Denny     Lloyd Burgmann     Russell Colcott

Elliott, O'Donnell, Bennett, Verrall and Colcott boast three sets of double letters.  That's just showing off.

Thanks to all who had a go or at least took an interest.

My steel-capped boots, and vigorous application thereof, were appropriately pre-emptive!

I took the 'first name initial only' as some kind of important clue and wandered around in the wilderness for a long time.

Coincidentally, R. Herring would be eligible for the team.

Brother, my cup is empty.

How about we send you answers for future brain teasers and you turn them into a brain teaser?

eg. All their middle names are John. They all debuted in round 3

Ooh, I've got an idea for a team. Harking back to one of the original draft vexations of Demonland.

We must all be willing to take up some slack until Demonstone rediscovers his quizmojo.
