I agree with you IWAP......

I can't see them breaking their own sanction now. And nor should they.

And despite how good it would be to see him back out there (if ready), he really has to serve his time.

Oh for heavens sake we get it, you have no time, loyalty or respect for Brad Miller

Hit the nail right on the head there

I don't want to get cocky or anything, but I have a good feeling again Collingwood. If we can beat an inform Adelaide side, why not an inform Collingwood side that are probably 3 or 4 places behind the Crows?

Im gonna go out on a limb and say Pickett will be back

No way YM. The club opens itself to some heavy criticism if we back down on Pickett. We don't need that kind of distraction going into a game.

I disagree that Whelan is a walk up start if fit. Don't get me wrong, I'd rate him in our top 10 players. It is just that he has broken down twice upon return. If I was ND I'd want to see him play a full game at Sandy before I committed to another crack. Its been said many times before but finals are out of the question, so no need to rush him back. Besides the defence has been good two weeks in a row.

I'd make one change, Newton in for Ward. We can afford to drop a defender for a forward. QB at the G would be a dream debut for Newton who deserves it.

Oh yeah, and Carroll to take Rocca. Carroll has been great the last couple weeks. He has played off opponents a little more and read the play better. Rocca would be a challange and I'd rather see if he is up for it than play Holland.

B: Bell, Carroll, Bizzell

HB: Brown, Frawley, Wheatley

C: Johnstone, Bruce, Green

HF: Bate, Newton, Sylvia

F: Davey, Neitz, Robertson

R: White, Godfrey, McDonald

I/C: P Johnson, Jones, McLean, Petterd

Match-ups:

Bell - Didak

Carroll - Rocca

Frawley - Cloke

umm, well they beat adelaide, at AAMI aswell, so id say they are better at this stage and ladder reflects it also.

SEASON DEE RAILED... NOW GET OFF OUR GROUND!

Its a GOOD tear if we beat Collingwood.

If Wheels plays i want him to smash neon leon into next week. We must go man on man again, no cheap touches for heath shaw and co. As much as i love Robbo he has only one side to his game. Robbo time to be accountable.

B: BELL, HOLLAND, WARD

HB: WHEATLEY, CARROLL, PETTARD

C: GREEN, MCLEAN, GODFREY

HF: DAVEY, BATE, BROWN

F: ROBERTSON, NEITZ, YZE

FOLL: WHITE, BRUCE, MCDONALD

IC: JONES, JOHNSTONE, SYLVIA, P.JOHNSON

EMERG: BIZZELL, FRAWLEY, WHELAN

If there are 2 games that Holland should play for the year it's the next 2 weeks he seems to be the perfect match up for Rocca.

If Yze didn't have the record that he has against the pies I wouldn't have him in the side but his record against them has to account for something. They do find it really tough to match up on him.

Sylvia should be the lucky one to stay in the side seems to struggle when Robertson plays.

Bizzell will be unlucky but he was ordinary against the Crows especially in the last quarter and can't play a key post.

Frawley unfortunately out due to match ups.

Whelan hasn't play enough football and Brown and Ward's form has been good enough to stay in the side so give Whelan a run at Sandy.

Miller's days as a forward are numbered. Bate is now definately our number 1 CHF. Newton and Dunn are our KP replacements. He needs to spend time at CHB at Sandy if he can't make it there then trade him to Brisbane. With Rivers injured and Holland near the end of his career CHB could be up for grabs. Miller is truely at the crossroads he has 12 weeks to rectify it.

Bell was brilliant hopefully he has come of age.

Green was awesome last week I don't think it is unreasonable to expect more of those games than not from him he hasn't played like that since he first started playing in the midfield.

Johnstone done very little to prove that he shouldn't be trade bait.

white colour, gee i knew the pies have had there problems with racism over the years but c'mon we are not all white colour :P

bonza eh!

i can not wait for these days.

what the hell does that mean?

I feel like I've been mugged reading the Collingwood boards.

And what's the go with the little bloke from Monopoly being chased by the Australian flag?

i thought the same, probably thinks its the true aussie bloke chasing the rich

just jealous that he/she hasn't the intelligence to make some wealth for them selves

ours said 'finals over,' incest really does affect the brain.

i hope they bring hundreds of banners, one for ever lil feral piece of filfth, so when they lose they have something to sleep under during the night

reading their site is making me feel actually stupid. are they for real? there are like pages of suggestions, all useless, all exactly the same, and they all sound really smug about it. making me angry

i say we send a few of these off to our boys, tell ya it'd fire them up that little bit more.

watch your wallets on the way out!

  • PREVIEW: Hawthorn

Hawthorn and Melbourne. Two teams with impressive form from last week but with seasons that are travelling on different trajectories meet in Saturday’s twilight game for what could well be the most intriguing contest of the AFL’s penultimate round. Sadly, the game has been relegated to that unappealing time slot in the weekend when Melburnians are typically preoccupied with activities other than football. It falls between the morning's shopping, afternoon sport and recreation, and Saturday night fever. A time usually reserved for relatively insignificant events but this one is not a nothingburger for either of the clubs or their fans.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
