Thanks @WalkingCivilWar, champion effort as usual.

Notes: Ben Brown in ‘trainers blues’ rather than team reds?  I understand his knee must be problematic, but is he likely to be around the club in a different capacity next year?  he seems like a ripping bloke, and we could do worse.

Ollie Sestan’s bum looks too close to the ground.

Great to see CP5 not getting too excited.

Thanks for the report and the uplifting news items WCW.

On Buck's point, what are people's thoughts about BBB working with the forward lines next year?

I reckon being back in the club environment is just as important for him. We know that he will regain his physical form, but it's the mental side of things that will be hardest to overcome.

I hope now that he's back in Melbourne and back at the club, that he is given a match day role for the remainder of the year. Would be good for him to feel involved again.

Too early by far no need for this 3 or more matches. Let him get physical fit with issues like his heart or we will have two Club greats still on the comeback trail for 2025.

PS Same as for Clarry it’s best if he is happy etc  then he will play better.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
