Some things are just obvious to someone who can read what a lisfranc injury is on google.  I’ll take the view of the Melbourne doctors and high performance team over you Dr. Google

Come on Demons11, there are scrubs on DL but you aren't one of them.

Yes I'm not going to pretend i'm a physio and say i've studied the lisfranc injury to within an inch of its life but I've read a few good articles from specialists. The track record of this injury is awful with players and usually means lengthy time periods out of the game, I'm yet to hear of a minor Linsfranc injury.

It's fair to say you back in the medical staff's judgement, that's fair. But I and others have got some questions about their all round performance there as well. It's looking like Max was rushed back, Jackson played injured and many more questionable cases. It is possible that they got it wrong this year in more cases than one.

T-mac is a required player next year and risking playing him in a VFL final didn't make sense to me. This stuff about players playing the game they love above all cautious measures? I get it but it reminds me of the Jack Viney syndrome that kept setting him back so often.

Tmac just posted a picture on Instagram of the plate and screws he had removed, without comment ready to go next year. Good signs people

Judging by this Casey were happy to swap Tmac with Melk in wet conditions and it proved a master stroke.

Fair points and yes my attitude with my response could have been made without being rude, so I take your point.   I’ve actually done a lisfranc injury myself and there are certainly different degrees of it.  I think all involved at the Dees wound have the players health as their number 1 priority and would take calculated risks on a players injury just as they did with May last year.   I think the premise of holding players back for the following year is a fraught with danger as their are no guarantees of success.  Anyway we see different sides which what makes the world go round.  Enjoy the GF today

Did not know that, and it was footy related?

That's right, we just have to hope T-Mac can get it right for next year. You too!

According to Tom’s instagram, he’s had screws taken out today and will be ready to go next season.
News of his demise are premature.

He missed a Casey GF - it was in season for him. So the logic used here is say nothing about it before the GF and then you don't have to after because it's a privacy issue?!

No matter - we are just going around in circles. None of us really know and we're not going to be told. I, for one, will move on.

No the logic I was using is that it is illogical to even try to compare "privacy" issues where one is a journalist report about system racism and the other is about player injuries.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
