I haven't watched this game yet but I've liked what I've seen of Oli Hotton this year, particularly through the champs.

Hotton was very good again tonight. Should go in that 10-20 range, would love him at the Dees.

It’s not inconceivable that the Dragons are going to produce three top 10 picks in Ashcroft, Sheezel and McKenzie with two others, Clarke and Hotton in line for the top 20. A big feather in the cap of the South Metro Junior Football League where they played before joining the Dragons and which also produced George Wardlaw who was with the Oakleigh Chargers and could also figure in top two to five in the draft.

Dragons take the sting out of ‘Rays in epic Grand Final performance

He probably finished in their best players but that’s not saying anything. Probably not quite top 40 so if the Dees want to pick him, they’ll get the opportunity.

Finn finished with 17 touches for the night. Not a bad effort in a team that was completely crushed but I agree, it’s not likely on that performance that he would be picked up in the top 40 in this draft where there are a number of medium/small players available for selection.

Ashcroft is ️ Will play round 1 2023- a huge boost for Lions alongside Jaspa Fletcher

Sheezel and Mckenzie top 10 for sure. Both would be great in red and blue.

Agree Oli Hotton is a quality youngster, would be a good pickup for the Dees if we stay with pick 14-15 from the LJ trade.

Charlie Clarke is that fast small forward with footy smarts. His pace alone brings him attention.

Jaxon Binns again showed his Rory Sloane like quality.  He runs and runs and links up and if we’d like another midfield running machine at the Dees, he’d have to be considered.

Finn Emile-Brennan could end up our academy pick either as a late pick or a rookie which would be a win. His ball use is excellent.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Western Bulldogs

The Dogs reigned supreme in 2018 with an inaugural AFLW premiership cup and the Demons matched this feat by winning the cup as the Season 7 2022 champions.Meggs wasn’t born when the Doggies won their first VFL premiership cup against the Demons in 1954. Covid prevented many Demons fans from legally witnessing the victorious 2021 AFL Grand Final cup performance between the Demons and the Bulldogs, but we all grin when remembering those magnificent seven third quarter goals.
