Coaches split:

  • 5/5 Gawn
  • 4/3 May
  • 4/1 Viney
  • 3/1 or 2/2  Harmes or Jordon.

I like it when a player gets votes from both coaches as seems better validation of their performance.

Genuinely surprised that one of the coaches thought Viney was the second-best player on the ground.

was certainly in top few with his contested ball winning

I agree with that, but I just thought there were others who played better. But for the avoidance of any doubt, I absolutely concur that Viney was one of the best players on the ground.

Agree.  No doubt they were the best 5 on the ground but I thought Jordon was there when the whips were cracking and Harmes probably had the better overall game, but like you, agree that Viney was definitely in the top 5.  Of course that was the clearest 10 vote game you are ever likely to see from Gawn.
