THE LAST TIME THEY MET

It was as long ago as Round 1, 2020 just before Lockdown 1.0 when life was so much simpler. One thing that doesn’t change much and that it that the Demons always seem to be drawn to play this mob over there…

What else do you want for Christmas? We are going to realise a desparate need arises for us to play through each and every free in front of goal that the umpires can generate for WC. We will have to be fast, smart, resilient and tough to see this game as a victory, beating both WC to the ball continuously and overcoming the influence of a series of very questionable decisions, most probably right across the ground. We can do this, playing thinking football and seizing every opportunity. We are tough nuts, so let's get it done.

Hard to believe the last time we played was just before the shutters came down because of Covid. The game itself shouldn't have qualified as a competitive fixture. It was a weird eerie game from start to finish

Good morning everyone.

I hate eagles fans constant incessant booing. What a bunch of filthy tossers.

Have a great day.?

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
