Absolute joke. I wonder how many tickets are left at that point.

Seeing Adelaide are rubbish and it’s full capacity I think we’ll be ok but I’ll lose my mind if I’ve paid for a trip and can’t get in!!!

I haven't paid for anything yet. Not booking anything until I secure a ticket. I'll probably get screwed on cost of flights for waiting.

6 of one half a dozen of the other Andy! At least I’ll get a weekend in Radilaide without the kids!

As an interstate member I got a ticket 10 minutes ago. Had a selection of 3 bays, one behind the goals and level 3 and 5 of the Riverside Stand.

As an interstate member I got a ticket about 1/2 hour ago. Straight forward and had a choice of 3 different bays to sit in.

If you have any Adelaide member mates get them to call ticketek as my mate did “I rang Ticketek, got a code and could book me and a guest”.

My ticket is sorted @Demonland…… yeeeewwwee!!!!

Got on to some legend Port fan on gumtree who has sorted me out. Also happens to have access to AFL members tickets for next weeks blockbuster. Double win!

Surely they’re taking the Mickey?! I didn’t register initially as I was so excited my mate got the tickets and another mate has decided to join the trip last minute and then…

Might be a bit of a "interstate" charge on that, but I've forked out $200 on flights so gotta be done.

Have a feeling the place will be half empty anyway.

Hi everybody. long time reader first time poster! Im an Adelaide based supporter with my dad originally playing for the Dees in the 70s before coming to SA to play and live. Ill be coming to the game Saturday and will be great to see other supporters!

Ill be sitting right behind the goals on the northern end of the ground. I think hopefully this is the Dees cheer squad area??

Good luck to those getting tickets at midday!!!

It’s a rip off isn’t it… and it’s $45 assuming inc the bull [censored] ticketek fee…

AO crowds this year, removing the showdown, crowds are approx. 30,000 people.

at 55K + capacity, how the &^&%$ is so difficult to purchase a decent seat.

Whine over...... On the Hill it is :-)

I'll see you all there, as an Adelaide based Dee i have the fortunate scenario of picking off a ticket from an Adelaide family member, will be there supporting the lads.

Will be in the Eastern stand Level 1 under the Audi lounge.

If we get the win we should get around the lads in the Eastern players race giving high fives and words of encouragement. Sounds corny but thats what i do.???

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

  • POSTGAME: Richmond

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
