Very good analysis

Wrong as far as Harmes, Sparrow, Hibberd & Tomlinson. They were all a real positive for me. I like what I’m seeing in Sparrow & Tomlinson at CHB gives us much more offensive run than Oscar.

Apart from that nonchalant and classy goal Benell just couldn't get into the game.

I reckon we have to take the risk and play him regularly to let him work into form

Got to agree here. He needs more game time to get up to speed of the game remembering he has missed allot of footy. That aside he needs to impact more with his defensive side. No more one handed tackles please.

I thought Harmes played the best game he's played down back, particularly in the first half.

Can't agree with your assessment of Tomlinson though, he was terrible. He's been an extremely disappointing pick up so far.

Pretty much spot on Joeboy. Harmes really did come to play and his intent and attack on the ball was evident early, it didn't turn out spectacular in the end but if he brings that vigour each week I can't fault him.

Tomlinson, terrible.  Wow, I must have been watching a different game, either that or you're letting your disappointment of his long term contract on large coin influence your specific match decisions.

No Crows opponent got hold of him at anytime and I really liked the way on a few occasions he switched play with run and a long penetrating kick.  He was solid and far closer to good than terrible.

Agree. Imo Tomlinson should hold the CHB role for the Kangas game

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
