It was good to see Jayden playing some decent football in patches, but it still feels as though he is capable of so much more. I'm not sure that he is best 22 in a full strength forward line playing his current role. 

Jayden's gamestyle does not go well with the modern high possession game.

As a forward he is a stop gap for players like Melksham when injured.

Another project for the coaching team to work out how to leverage his skills.

Perhaps something as revolutionary as leaving a fast forward around the 80metre line so Hunt can kick to space for the forward to run onto.

As a fwd he's hard to stop on a lead and he can lay a tackle. The fwd pressure was sadly lacking this year from most but he equipped himself quite well.

He's a small forward with ability to jump for marks.  Our fastest small forward to create pressure, and kicked our second most goals.  With a better forward line he could boost 20 goals to between 30 and 40.    That's our problem - where do the goals come from.  He's a necessity.

I thought he was the best of our experiments as a non key forward. I'd like to see it continue and have him specifically trained & coached in that role over the pre-season. We may have only scratched the surface of what he has to offer there

Quite apart from his attacking roles as a forward and his ability to kick goals, his run and ability and willingness to chase defenders is really important.  The more he works on this the better he will become.
