well he was the only one who played all 22 games, so not surprising

Rooey based it on the next hypothetical game where he would line up; and not only the 22 as you point out.

So Gawn and Oliver "tie" on 464 votes.Β  What are the odds of that?Β  We hardly get brownlow ties in a 1-2-3 system of voting, which is akin to a sprint.Β  Yet we are supposed to believe that there was a dead-heat in this marathon?Β  Rigged.Β  They didn't tie, but the club thought it was convenient that they did.

Β

Frost 9th.Β  What a joke.Β  Probably had 464.1Β votes until Goody came in with his eraser.Β  Might have been a triple dead-heat?

An absolute rort.

Poor old TGR.Β  Not unlike Sam Newman, he's suffering terribly from Relevance Deprivation Syndrome and is forced into making more and more ridiculous statements in at attempt to gain some attention.

RDS can be a good thing depending on the IQ of the audience.

Which is why it’s only happened once in our entire history.Β

Β

Im struggling to see your point. Even IF what you allege is accurate , and it well might be, you can be damn sure all clubs do that . ButΒ your anger seems very directed at our club only.Β

Re Frost, Β he clearly divides opinions. Personally I love him and wish we could work around his assets more as they’re very unique. But as coaches and casting votes post game, Β how the hell do you rate his brillianceΒ against his deficiencies and how well he gets the job done. I’m sure votes for him are wildly divided also. Do u rate his 6 excellent intercept marks and 5 running bursts from the backline higher than the 5 times he gave up goals thru poor positioning or turnovers.Β Top 10 finish is about right for frosty imo. I don't know what you are on, but please tell us Β  Β it seems to be really good [censored]

Frost was good and exciting to watch, but maybe the goals kicked from his turnovers or poor decisions had some impact on his votes

I suppose the only thing missing from this left-field conspiracy theory is motive.

Why on earth would anyone want to rig a B&F to ensure a tie?

Β

In fact, it would be in the club's benefit to not have a tie as you can bet that now both Gawn and Oliver will be receiving a little bonus in their contract for winning and Best and Fairest.Β  Would be much cheaper to have one winner.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?
