Two weeks ago the Crows beat the Cats who  we could not beat with Clarry in the side.

How on earth will we beat the Crows on their home patch with or without Clarry?

4 weeks ago, Bulldogs beat Geelong by 2 points.

2 weeks ago, Melbourne beat Bulldogs by 50 points.

1 week ago, Geelong beat Melbourne by 2 points.

Old Dee, your argument is so illogical.

This season more than others, it is noticeable that certain teams just match up well against others. There are 14 teams that on their day can beat each other irrespective of ladder position.

We're not a genuine contender.

But we are a genuine contender to get into the finals series. Just not do very much when there.

But that's fine...  as we are onward upward.   And we are growing older and maturing, getting stronger, getting better.

It's all part of the deal.

I differ somewhat.  I don't think we'll make it, but I think if we do we can do some damage.  I think our mental hurdle is our absence from finals, not the premiership drought.  Make finals and I think we'll play with more freedom and be more dangerous.  Not saying by any means that making the finals should be a measure of success, that should always come down to premierships.  I don't think many sides would want to face us if we made it to the finals.  But, alas, I don't think we will this year ?

Except they don't train there.

That said there has been questions asked if they Olympic park (where they do train) surface is a contributing factor in their soft tissue injuries.  Which would be weird given it was purpose built for pies to train on

OK, thought they trained on opposite ovals beside each other, managed by same curator? Never been there

I think we can do some damage in the finals series, but I don't think we are ready to go all the way.

We're a bit immature, a little bit short of what it takes IMO.

We need to try to recruit a couple in the 26 yrs to 28yrs bracket.

I reckon most of the emergencies should travel this week.

Vanders for Harmes, just in case he doesn’t come up

Weideman for Hogan, just in case Hoges doesn’t get over his man flu

Wags for JKH, on the off chance the match committee realise they’ve made a mistake

Peds because he’s a worthy inclusion
