I'm happy that Jake is getting some time in the coaches box whilst he recovers. I mentioned either on the site or on the podcast when he first did his ACL that I thought this would be a good idea and a good opportunity for a future leader of this club to get that experience and perspective.

A little bit of overkill regarding Lever’s loss to the team.

In reality he was pretty poor-average for most of his games with us apart from 2, so to blame his injury on our backline’s dysfunctionality is a little presumptive and plainly wrong

Notwithstanding the above, he WILL be a fantastic addition to our team in the future

It was 2017-esque at worst. Lever wasn't with us last year; the worst we can expect is our 2017 defence, which realy wasn't all that bad to begin with. +1 more year it has no excuses.

He’s never been in the coaches box. 

Lucky he isn’t still in Adelaide. His rehab would be listening to the tigers theme song for the next 12 months.
