Every single one of those games are winnable. There's not one there that makes me go "urgh, better write that one off".

Odds are we'll lose a couple though. Hopefully those are through a tight, high quality arm wrestle where things don't go our way.

A 14 or 15 win season would be an outstanding result.

I think if we've learnt anything this season, is that every game is equally winnable as it is lose-able. We beat Adelaide and West Coast at home but lost to North and Hawthorn.

I'm glad we have some tough assignments coming up. No point beating bottom feeders and going into the finals only to find out we can't compete with the top teams. It'll be a great test to see if we are indeed good enough to beat the best teams leading into the finals, as chances are we will meet again in September.

There will be no shame in losing the Adelaide, Port and GWS games if it's a good battle, and as long as we beat North (for the love of god please!!!), St Kilda, Brisbane and Collingwood, as we should still comfortably make finals, and that would be a wonderful achievement.

I think weirdly that GWS is going to be our most winnable of the above 4 matches, especially given we should have almost a full team by then (assuming no other horrible new injuries)

I tried out that ladder predictor thing on the AFL website.

Went as conservative as possible and gave us wins vs North, St Kilda, Brisbane & Collingwood and losses to the Crows, Port & GWS.

All other results have a bearing too, and my predictions for those are obviously subjective, but I still had us finishing 5th - 6th.

The top eight stayed more or less the same other than the Bombers coming up, and Richmond dropping out (finishing 9th - LOL!!)

Can't have tigers finishing 9th I want to play them 1st week of finals, had a few lippy tigers supporters get into me after last game

Need 3 wins and strong percentage...

Need to beat Pies,Lions & Roos to be credible & win 1 of 3 out of Crows,Power & Gws

Three games against top four sides.

Three games against bottom four sides.

And the Saints game.

The optimist in me pencils in four wins and hopes for an upset against at least one of Crows, Power, or GWS to (possibly) get us a home final in the first week. If that win comes against the Power, it *may* be enough for us to leapfrog them (despite their percentage) and really challenge for the top four.

But then the pessimist in me sees North and Pies as loseable games, and if the Saints play like they did this weekend then we could easily get done there too.

I was playing around with the Ladder Predictor this morning, and this season is too crazy, with too many possible permutations left, to make any kind of predictions this far out. This season is INSANE.

Yes, the Pies game last home and home in the season could be one of the hardest particularly if they win a few in the meantime and it becomes the "saving Buckley's job" game. You can do a lot riding on emotion, especially if we are ensconced in the eight by then. Still we should have everyone back by then and it will become a dress rehearsal for the finals.

Remain undefeated and some notable games go our way and we'll win the minor premiership.

Geel d Adel, Rich d GWS, Syd d Geel, Port d Adel, Coll d Geel/Geel d GWS or Geel d Coll/GWS d GEEL.  And we boost our percentage above others.

Ahahaha

The Collywobbles will Buckley under the pressure and we win by 100

When Gawn went down in round 3 vs Cats, a few mates - well non believers I know, but who are good footy judges, went that's it for D's this year. Since then it has just got worse re suspension & injuries, yet we still sit 9-6, okay I think 9-7 after Crows tonight!

But even with a difficult draw the Goodwin D's will find a way. Max will start finding form, Hoges clunking a few and next week with Watts, Tyson and maybe Viney back we will win enough to make the eight. Then Salem and eventually Jones get back, we might just have close to our best 22 on the park come finals time.

If you look at the whole season, we've been a chance to win every game. Only bad loss was against the Swans, when we had major injuries, 4 games in 18 days and just traveled back from Perth on a 6 day break, against the most in form team in the comp.

Demons will make it, winning another 4-5 and be ready to roll come the finals! They may even win tonight, who would have picked the Saints to lose by 10 goals after demolishing the Tiggers last week!
