Good article here about the resurrection of Nev's career and his ongoing battle v Eddie, with club-by-club figures showing we (Nev) have kept Eddie to the fewest goals in recent seasons. Sensational effort against a truly great player. 

Would love to see that same break-down against some of the other leading small-forwards of the game. And then send the whole package to the AA selectors.

"Neville is our 'Mr Consistency' and plays his role as well as anyone. In our top 6 to 8 players week-in / week-out.  No frills, just very, very reliable and nullifies the impact of the most dangerous small forwards in the opposition.  A rock!"

as far as i'm concerned he's the best lock-down small defender in the competition.

Our whole backline was well planned and coached against Adelaide. Nev did a great job against Eddie, was well supported by the other backs and mids. Our structure held up better and better the longer the game went.
