2016 Player Review - # 34 Mitch King

Interesting little snippet.  Our Mitch, having never played a game for the club, is one of the most popular ruck selections in the AFL Fantasy Football this season.  They have him on the bench in their Hype Team made up of the most popular selections so far.  He's in 18.2% of teams so far.

Watching him today at a rehab training session they could be on the money. He looks to be very tall but is quote mobile, has clean hands and a fluent kicking action. He would be a handful up forward but no idea about his ruck skills.

Talking to a former insider he told me towards the end of the year that King had actually grown to 202cm tall.

If he could also play decent footy he could be a handful

PS that is not being sceptical, just don;'t know.  Hope he is

Great to see that their are no Melbourne midfielders or forwards judged worthy of a guernsey! Nice to start the year under everyone's radar!
