Thanks Dave. Not knowing how the D-League finals works, but I assume we get a second chance finishing 2nd and play the winner of 3rd and 4th? Would like to see King have a good match in the finals series, even if he doesnt end up with the Dees next year.

Correct.  Box hill through to the gf. We get 2nd chance

The game is not dissimilar to last week. Casey squandering opportunities and failing to cause damage on the scoreboard. Meanwhile Dogs get their second.

I haven't heard Oliver's name. Is he not out there?

Clarrie is there. Like a few others, not getting a look in. Casey not being allowed to play on their own terms so far.

McInerney with the tackle and free in front of goal.  Converts!

We have choked magnificently in finals since joining Casey.

Now when we were with the Mighty Zebs.....

(Grew up in Sandy....sorry)

The VFL boys doing it for us. Scott with the second.

Nice one on the siren to Angus Scott.

Quarter Time Casey Scorpions 2.3.15 to Footscray Bulldogs 3.0.18

Goals McInerney Scott

Disposals M. Jones 11 Michie 10, Neal-Bullen 9 Kennedy 8

As it should

QT Stats Disposals - M. Jones 11, Michie 10, Neal-Bullen 9, Kennedy 8. Goals - McInerney, Scott.

Got to say - It sounds like Kennedy is doing the damage. But good to see Jones getting heaps of it.

We normally play with a lot more tackles and stoppages, then win it out of the stoppage. That is not happening today. So far no chance for our midfielders to show their strengths.

Honeychurch kicks it straight to White and he waltzes into goal. Good pressure from the Casey forwards.

Choo Choo! Crumbing the goal square and our boy kicks the goal.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
