I have started interviewing former AFL players with an interesting story to tell. I interviewed former Demon Brock McLean where we covered his time at the club, the $10,000 debt demolition donation and whether or not he felt he left the club on bad terms.

Intriguing Jackson. I will bet you any amount that most people here couldn't  give a rat's about Brock McLean. He dropped us into a bucket of excrement after his departure from the club. I would rather gouge my eyes out with cucumbers than watch interviews with this individual. Do us a favour and interview Robbie Muir ( without your mouth guard)

The turtle was a good clubman till he turned into a lying media hoare.

For those who CBF'ed watching what's the answers?

It was interesting and worth the listen. Left out a rather obvious question/topic though.

Bit of a reversal on his reason why he left Melbourne.
It makes me wonder if someone put him up to spilling the beans on tanking. I have always defended him on that one but I wonder if someone was giving him a gentle nudge as well.

Interesting indeed..

Seriously were those questions read from a script or something? Dull as you could ever hear.

Can never forgive the duplicity of McLean throwing us under the bus whilst playing for the club with the worst tanking history. He can shove his $10,000 where the Sun don't shine.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
