Toumpas Trophy is on the line.

As for these three clubs, well it's going to be an exercise in fitness and endurance especially if the weather is hot. I dare say we will perhaps be resting some players or giving them a very brief run? Petracca, Trengrove, Frost?

Does anyone know if you can watch NAB Cup games from overseas? Is it the same as regular home & away games?

I assume the Craigieburn game won't be shown, but what about the Saints game?

I know I'm clutching at straws and should just come to terms with the fact that I will be missing half the season.

I have a yearly subscription that's part of my MFC membership, but from memory, the NAB cup games are streamed free. If not, you can do a subscription per match, or by month (or something similar).

No reason to not have the best of both worlds on your travels. Be aware though, that if you're in Europe, it can make for some horrendously early starts ... or very late nights.

This has been the case for the past few years...can't see why it would be any different in 2016.

Either way, Jaded, if you're missing half the season it's definitely worth investing in an account, which would include the NAB Cup.

Thanks.

I will definitely be subscribing. I looked at doing it as part of my membership, but as I'll only be missing 3 months it was cheaper to pay as I go, rather than for the whole year. Given I've spent $600 on a membership I won't use for half a season, I figured I had done my bit already.

And yes I am aware of the late nights and early mornings sacrifices that I'll need to make in order to watch the games. I'll be on a 4 months trip, so it's not like I'll be rushing off anywhere. Definitely worth it. Just hope the internet is good everywhere I go, especially in Scandinavia.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
