Yep humming right into fourth last bb.

just hummed into being beaten by the Saints, Carlton etc.

Heard on SEN today that in the last month we have scored 3 goals to 39 in the first quarters of our last four games.

We hummed along to a few handy wins this year as well.

Harsh, but true.

I wander who the 2 are

How old are you?

I cannot speak for bb

I went to the 1960 GF.

Does that give you a clue.

Menzel is a terrible example. He was a star in his second year. Of course they were going to stand by him.

That list is very thin on the ground. Is it all you could come up with ?

That was a very quick bit of research but happy to do more.

My point is if this club can't develop players like Toumpas then we are screwed. And the other point is this is a shallow draft year and he has no currency. What is the point of trading him for say a 3rd round pick if it nets us a player equal or probably worse?

I really hope he comes good next season to stick it up all of you negative supporters.

Toumpas, Stretch & Hunt are the only 2nd or 3rd year Demons he represents

Who's winning this week to get us down to fourth last?

Care to make a comment about how good we are?

anyway we are discussing Toumpas.

After three years the guy is bog ordinary.

Will he get better?

I do not think so.

Why do they have to be MFC players or am I missing something.

Yes I Know it is not impossible.

Why don't you two stop denying your true feelings and just get married already? A love born out of negativity is a recipe for longevity.

Who's winning this week to get us down to fourth last?

Chris...i rate you...but not sure what that means.

What is ...is.. we're rubbish...still.

Thought we're supposed to to be on the up and up.

Great coaches...Stirling talent. ..so much potential. ..and we're still rubbish.

Bet Roos sleeps comfortably..probably planning his Hawaiin xmas

Meanwhile we're still rubbish...only way is up kinda team.

There's a reason our future may be up...'cos we're crap.

But with 'potential' ..all good :)

can you...oh wise one arrange a meeting with the fd.

I'll happily explain so called negativity to them.

It's borne from the idea I've been waiting a long long time for success. A lot longer than ANY of them have been associated with the club.

Btw they get paid.. i pay... I'm pizzed off.

You made the comment us being fourth last, we aren't, we are fifth last and in terms of how good or bad we are we should really be sixth last, so not so good but good times are ahead. I haven't been this optermistic about the team for a long time.

On the Question of Toump, he could be a servicable player but needs to get confident. Worth keeping as the other option is a very low draft pick which is a bigger gamble.

Mate, it's Thursday. If you're still crying into your beer four days after the team you support has finished playing, you have other issues you need to look into.

4th last 5th last

So much better

Was in response to OD saying we were marching to fourth last, or words to that effect.

you don't comprehend

Go back to easy reads like John and Jane

But mate, he's been putting up with all of this for so much longer than us (and how can we forget, he brings it up far too regularly) so he's entitled to be as negative and sooky as he likes! It can't be questioned!

Chris...our travelling is a bit wobbly. Some want to shine the mud.

I understand we're mud.

you accept our mediocrity. Yay for you

You seem to actually be the opposite of those who 'shine the mud'. We are not as bad as you and others make out and our future is not ensured to be as bright as others say, it may be but many things need to go right for it to happen.

Chris..we are exactly what we are 5th last

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
