welcome back old son.

G'day Smithy, good to see you posting, how are you old fella?

I am one of the happy ones with Krygios, I don't mind a bit of lip, as you may know, and the kid can play.

He might not have Marat's loveable temper, but I don't mind some attitude on the court.

I'm fine thanks DA read a lot but don't often post.

Far too much negativity, aggro and cheap shots on here for mine.

You obviously just love Jamar. F me if I know why, 14 years at the club and 2 top10 finishes in the BnF. Not a good return mate.

Class.

nah underperforming for 12 years is not very classy

You've been on Land for that long?

??? hunch ???

effort & desperation, are even more amazing things, than c

So you're not a Kyrgios fan then? :)

There are a few of us that would appreciate if you did post now and then, mate.

Glad you're well.

Love your work DA, keep punching mate.

Happy with Krygios ?

Greetings Smith!

Just chiming in here on the back of DA.

Good to see you post - it's been a while!

You'd be loving the cricket at the moment too.

Love his tennis DA, not so much his mouth, a poor man's McEnroe.

Howdy Rowdy, just returned from 6 weeks in Europe.

Achieved a life time ambition of seeing a test at Lords.

Saw every ball bowled at Lords and Edgbaston and loved it despite our capitulation in Birmingham.

A real experience and I'm still wondering why Clarke did not bowl after winning the toss at Edgbaston, one of life's great mysteries to me.

Take care.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
