Come on guys give us a break. The season has started & this post has a few guys reminiscing about everything except footy. Tell them to use Facebook or set up their own email network if they want to gasbag to each other instead of hijacking this site.

I disagree Franky. If all the s4it is kept on that one thread that is fine by me. You don't have to go there.

You can lock the asylum gates, but you can't keep the lunatics inside.

Why would we want to do that?
If you don't like the thread don't read it.

Lighten up Francis.

I have another suggestion that involves yourself and a rolling donut.

There is a limitless supply of drivel for you on the internet.

Why would you want to stomp on our sandcastle?

Go pull wings off flies or something if you are that bored you need to ruin a purely social medium for others.

I think I made the mistake, almost a year ago, of mentioning he should never be named and strictly followed the conditions of the thread and excluded myself. It really is pretty easy not to click on a thread title. Why is its presence an issue?

So you open a thread to tell the Mods to close another thread? I'll have to workshop that for a while.

In the meantime give it a rest Frank - or at least change hands.

Are you kidding? Keep the garbage in that thread and prevent it slipping out in other threads I say!! I haven't been in there for ages, if you don't go in it, then who cares?

I have spoken, now lock this thread mods!! Ha!

thevil1 - I have tried on many occasions to shut the thread down but lately I have had second thoughts about it.

We live in a democracy and it's only fair that those who frequent the thread have a place to voice their opinions.

For them, it's therapeutic - the rest of us can either go there to have a giggle from time to time or simply to ignore it.

On the other hand (and I know I'm being inconsistent here) this thread deserves no oxygen so I'm following your request and locking this thread.

Cheers
