Training - Saturday 17th January, 2015 at Maroochydore

Was rather tempted to make the 2 1/2 hr trip Nth. Alas, the temperature is rising at a rapid rate, and forecast to be a stinker. So, the pool wins out...!

The full ground, run & ball carry activity with token defenders has been going for almost half an hour in the heat

They've gone to another oval now for repeat sprints. Fitzy Spencer Bail early standouts. Hogan & Garland kicking to each other, reduced load. Gawn also doing well in run- throughs

Full lap run until whistle in two groups Dunny dominated one group with King & Garlett bringing up the rear

About 250-300 watching what the players are calling the second quarter Another full ground activity More competitive now

That's a big crowd for a training session on a warm morning in Maroochydore.

thnks dude

tell us some good things about J-HOG

Started back after half time and ice baths. Another full ground run & carry activity Watts doing well now along with Brayshaw, Howe, Hunt and Cross

  • GAMEDAY: Brisbane

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
