2014 Player Review - # 40 Mark Jamar

Featured Replies

The Russian had no pre-season and made a late start due to injury but was influential once he got going. Impact declined in the last month or so perhaps as a result of limited early preparation.

Finito.no jumpy,no mark.

Make way for Max and Fitzy.

Only reason Jamar is still playing is because we have Spencer, Gawn and Fitzy to back him up. A sad uninspiring lot at the moment. If only we still had Martin. I note that THE AGE has him as one of their smokies for the Brownlow. Yipes!

This.

Not trading Jamar two years ago when he had value, ideally instead of Martin, was one of the worst decisions Neeld made. He is completely and utterly useless outside ruck contests, and even then I suspect that most of his hit outs go directly to the opposition. He is basically a witches hat around the ground and there is no way he should be our number 1 ruck next year. I would be more than happy to pay out his contract for next year and trade for a replacement.
