Calling all Interstate and country MFC members

Featured Replies

In my annual membership package I have free entry to one Perth game involving the Dees and 4 home games at the MCG. I was wondering if someone could tell me where I would be sitting if I travelled across to Melbourne to make use of my free entries? it's a bit late this season but I would like to know where Interstate and country members actually sit at the G on home game days.

General admission areas. Depends on the game seating catagory the afl sets but in low attendance game it's level 1 both ends except for mcc and afl reserve or pretty much the whole top level except mcc.

I've used mine many times Bobby and sad to say it's never an issue with us you will always find space near your fellow Dees in the cheer squad. Even Queens birthday look forward to the days when we are struggling to get into the G with the size of the crowd

Thanks for that mate. So do I take it that one can sit anywhere in the Great Southern stand? You don't have allocated seats? Where in the ground do the cheer squad sit? In the old,old days when i was living in Victoria, Melbourne football Club members sat together in the top level of the southern stand behind the goals at the Punt Rd end. Can one sit there now? No more questions. Once again, thanks to you and to those who offered advice on my query.

When you come over make sure you use your Hertz discount card. I'm currently in Noosa and got 20% off on a 4 day car hire

So you are buying again in 2015 Bobby!

You have my admiration for continuing .

Thanks fellow old dee. Is it just blind faith? We have seen much success but I really feel for our loyal and young posters.

No allocated seating for country membership, just find a seat in GA on Level 1 or Level 3.

It's a Melbourne game mate. Pretty much take your pick of where you want to sit.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
