It was one of these "all round ordinary performances" than happen from time to time. It would be premature to predict the end of the Cats, though there were certainly some worrying signs, NB the persistent fumbling which is totally out of character.

I watched the game feeling like they were being totally out worked, and not by 5% or 10% the swans ran all over them, the cats were just so helpless, it was like watching us last year.

Rivers must be feeling a tad nostalgic this morning.

After last night I couldn't help myself

I'll pay that.

There's always room on this forum for decent comedy.

Except last year we only lost to the Swans by under 50 points!

I feel happy now knowing that we lost to them by only 30 points this year. At the start of the year Geelong looked the goods, oh how things can change.

Rivers must be feeling a tad nostalgic this morning.

Are you perhaps suggesting that he may request a transfer (back) to a club on the rise ? :-)

It was a totally shite performance.

Even though I knew the result, I watched the 11pm replay. I wanted to see Geelong struggle, but I was intrigued to see how well Sydney played. Their ball movement off half back and numbers at every contest was simply awesome.
