Tippett and Franklin are just ripping the cats apart tonight.

The fact The Swans are able to recruit both players is a disgrace.

Salary Cap Bullshite.

I am dreaming of Roosy beating the Swannettes on the last saturday in September.

The wine is kicking in!!!

Mate, I don't disagree with you on that, but all you ever talk about is CEO's, tax breaks, admins... Try and enjoy the game occasionally

I enjoy it more when the talent is spread in a fair and even way.

Vlad and his cohorts want Sydney flags. We and the rest are merely catching up.

I hope you can understand this.

I didn't realise just how good Tippett is to be totally honest, i'd nearly rate him as high as buddy on current form, these blokes are going to be hard to stop from winning the premiership

Of course. And they are given a bigger CAP to be able to get them there together....

Vlad must be so happy.....

Just stop WYL. You're being exceptionally boring. You made your point a few times already, no need to keep repeating.

They probably still got cap space for a Cameron, Fyfe or Dangerfield coo this offseason

Yeah, I reckon you know something is wrong when a team can win the 2012 premiership with 1 mil in the cap spare to recruit tippet and then offer the biggest deal of the modern era to a player the following year, I hope they scrap the cola and buddy retires at 32 and leaves them in tatters for being so stupid, having said that they might have won every flag up until that point the way they look tonight.

You beauty! Thank you "why you little" ripper!

I didn't realize the footy was on as I'm stuck in the lab waiting (4 h) between incubations.

This should help kill the time :)

Cheers mate!

3-4 flags in a row before it falls apart...the league would love it.

Keep the Broadcast deals up in the stratisphere

they have to win the flag to justify the recruiting moves, if they don't players will ask why they are taking significant pay cuts to pay for Tippett and Buddy to not win.

I think Vlad was hoping Buddy would go to GWS,,, WYL. Swannies ambush. & they ambushed the Lions the year before, if you remember.

the Swans come uppence will happen as they're young guns all mature. they will lose some, & the Cola will run dry, around that time.

On a sad note, Rivers looks a quarter of the player he used to be.
I thought he'd be a huge beneficiary of the 'zoning' off Geelong system but he looks completely lost.

**** Sydney are good though. Start talking to Tom Mitchell now Demons.

Sydney or GW$ is irrelevant.

A 9 game broadcast deal is what they want.

If the Swans are winning the advertising $$$ roll in.

GW$ is a side issue

Rivers has been fantastic for them the rest of the year though. All the Cats look tired tonight.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
