The Christian Salem or Nathan Freeman thread

These threads about dodging the bullet of an injury riddled player are a bit unsavoury. How would the thread: 'Brayshaw vs Trading pick 3 for an Established A-Grader without concussion troubles' go down on DL?

It's sometimes about reflecting on those picks we got right, as opposed to picks we got wrong, regardless if they are riddled with injury or not.

This is a sporting entity within a professional league, it's not about being unsavoury. The club made the right call and I'm happy about that.

Well, at least we are making calls based on a body of work now.

Before we used to say we won trades or made correct drafting decisions based on what we wanted to believe (i.e. Brock McLean trade, Angus Brayshaw though that has to play out).

Interesting that most posters had freeman in front of Salem before the draft. Lucky we are not to ones making the final decision

I remember a Dees fan in the lead up to that draft called Ash, pushing Freeman regularly on SEN talkback.

Wonder what his thoughts are now

Dodged a bullet freeman is gone by seasons end, it has come to a point where a footy club say sorry enough is enough, he say been playing all year showed not much at vfl.
