I quite enjoy the Craig Report and liked the clips of the week.

He is trying to implement an offensive game style where we move the ball out of defence really quickly and catch the opposition of guard (like Geelong 2009). He said it requires speed and good disposal.

It's a breath of fresh air after Neelds stagnant boundary line play.

I partically liked Watts getting the ball in the centre taking a few steps and making that beautiful pass to Fitzy (hope to see watts do that again). Imagine trying to stop Fitzy, Dawes, Clark and Hogan all leading in different directions and Watts pushing up the ground waiting to get a rebound and pass it off to them. No need for a midfield then - problem solved!

What do people think is Craig just wasting time or is he actually on to something we can use in the future?

I agree get it in quick before the opposition have time to flood the backline and stop all of Hogan, Dawes, Clark and Fitzy all leading in different direction into open space.

I like Neale Craig , as a genuine person, and an experienced coach, would be devastated if they selected another spud as coach, some dreamer with a loser PowerPoint presentation, living in fantasy land with big ideas and a five year plan taking us nowhere.

We definitely have the rebounding defenders in Frawley, Garland and I think Strauss would make a great rebounder (pace and kicking).

Then in centre we have Watts and Blease to get the ball forward quick (no handballing sideways to still players)

Haha yer ..... Its stuff like that that he says and his appearance that makes him look a lot more likeable and personal than Neeld. The fact that he continues these reports even now that he is coach I think says something about him.

Neale does appear to have the respect of the playing group, who will then put in that little extra for him. I agree that he would seem to be, should he want the job, way ahead of the likes of Laidley.

Good point - what did we have in 2011 that we don't have now?

Our players have more games under their belts and we drafted more talent.

I guess we lost the Jamar Moloney combo and an offensive game plan?

I genuinely believe with an improve midfield we will improve tenfold.

Yeah pretty much, we are much better off in terms of key position players, our midfield wouldn't be as good but i am sure we will adress that through trading and free agents.

Bluey, I'm interested to know what is so "loser" about a powerpoint presentation. I've heard it spoken about many times on here, especially about Bailey's (I think) powerpoint presentation.

If you were going for a senior AFL coaching role, how would you sell yourself? Would you not take anything in and just answer questions? Would you give the interview panel a written report on where you think the team is and what your plans are?

I still use powerpoint presentations in my field of work, and find them to be quite an effective way of delivering a message/presentation to a number of people. No-one has ever complained about my methods, and have had many successful outcomes post-powerpoint presentation, so I'm wanting to make sure I'm still up to date with current technology, or if there is some new whizz bang method that I have not discovered.

Agreed. Bombing it high and long would be nothing sort of frustrating for a KPF. Move it along quickly and hit up someone on a nice lead.
