Moloney has 21 disposals, 6 tackles, and a goal up to 3/4 time as the Lions give the Bombers a run for their money at their home ground.

Meanwhile, Pedersen, Rodan, Gillies looked like spuds even at VFL level today.

Thanks a lot Mark.

Clearly he wasn't doing it for us so why does it matter? He'd still be languishing away at Casey because he (quote from him) 'didn't have faith in Neeld and felt that Neeld didn't have faith in him'. I'd say his ego was probably too big... you can't have a player who is bigger than the coach. Just move on.

Why does it matter?! Because the coach that did the damage is STILL THERE.

24 touches, 7 tackles, and a goal against one of the best sides this year in an upset win... But I guess he's a downhill skier and we're on the right track with Neeld and our 10 goal losses to Gold Coast at the G.

Under normal circumstances i always watch and hope ex Dees play well if they're at other clubs, Moloney is different, i can't wrap my head around any senior coach being happy for him to walk and trying to defend bringing in Rodan, Gillies, Pederson and Byrnes because we lack experience.

You'll never convince the mediocrity loving neeld fans, Stuie. Everything he does is gold - our results show that, don't they?

Don't you know it's all Moloney's fault. Neeld is just perfect. Makes no mistakes. Beamer's form has nothing to do with Voss believing in him.

A lot of us have mixed feelings about the Beamer situation, but surely people have got to stop bagging him abut being lazy etc... His stoppage work, defensive work and tackling against he Bombers today was sensational. He still kicks long without thinking but I miss his grunt and effort. Him moving on is a big loss for us. As was the Jnr MacDonald moving on. The more I think about all this the more depressed I get.

Watched 20 minutes of the game.

He got 3 touches in that time and bombed to no-one.

One landed in Fletcher's hands.

Gosh, I miss him.

We got beaten by 10 goals by Gold Coast at our home ground last week, gosh I love Neeld.

The case for:

- We suck

The case against:

Watson takes a mark on Moloney in the forward line late in the 4th quarter, plus Moloney does very little for most of the game = Continued poor performances and little defense against better teams.

The case for still probably wins

The frustration here is Neeld let go of an experiened midfielder & replaced him with a spud like Rhodan! Why?

The same goes with Gysberts....swapped with Pedderson another spud!

Our senior players needed Neeld to believe in them, not torch them!

Ask the senior players at Port Adelaide what they think of Hinkley.......

Gysberts is killing them at the Roos......

Gysberts is 21 and coming off injury and a club noted for poor development, has shown glimpses of what he could do. Sent from a team desperate for mids.

Pedo is 26 and a consistent VFL player who has never cracked AFL, brought into a team with Clark, Dawes, Gawn, Sellar, and soon Hogan all ahead of him.

Gysberts has shown some promising signs for Werribee this year, particularly on a wing. We will regret this trade, if we don't already.

That's not what you said.

We needed big bodies.

Pedersen played well @ Casey today.

No he didn't. Did you watch the whole game? He made some nice spoils in the second half, but that was the extent of his contribution.

Heyy Mods, Is there a poll at the end of season for the dumbest post of the year? Just wondering

Let's see what unfolds.

Gysberts was part of a sulky culture (include Blease here) that blamed the Club, the coaches, the grippo, the weather, the hours....

He blamed everyone and everything, but never took responsibility for his own inept preparation and dedication.

I reckon he's played 2 good games.

Perhaps both will stay VFA fodder, but I'd back Pedo over Gys right now.

Who hasn't Watson taken a mark against in the forward line this year? He's beaten most opponents in one on one's in a marking contest. He's bloody good. That's why he won a brownlow

Haha....does very little? You must watch the game differently to some Master. Did you see the tackle he put on Watson at one point in the 3rd and then wrestled/won the ball off him on the ground? The run out the back. Read Luenburger (and visa versa) beautifully and kicked a non too shabby goal around the corner. Justy a few examples. Some people are hard to please. Or is it that we've had so little success for so long you just don't recognise a decent game form a solid player when you see one like a few other Demon fans on here i reckon. Seriously ....laughing here

Right, and you know this how exactly? Spoken to him in depth about it? Neeld called you to talk about it? Skype date with Neil Craig maybe?

Rubbish rumours that someone has started on Demonland and you've been sucked into thinking is fact.

Was 21 when he left us, how much of an influence do you think he had on our culture?

No, not really.

Just watched in frustration as he refused to meet minimum targets.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
