Another Grimes Brother?

Tom Grimes

Club: Northern Knights

D.O.B.: 1.12.94

Height: 189cm

Weight: 76kgs

I have no idea if he is even related, but I saw this name towards the bottom of the page.

He at least plays for the same junior club.

After missing out on Dylan who has become a serious player, you'd think we have to look hard at this kid.

Anyone know if he is related?

Think that their are 3 more brothers to come.

5 brothers all up. There's an older bro (Nathan) who played in the VFL for a while, Aaron who would be 18-19 now and plays in the Northern FL, and now Tom who is a chance to go late/rookied like Dylan.

Isn't Tom the brother who has had injury issues, IIRC around the time Dylan was drafted?

If so, rookie pick at best, I'd say.

Would Jack be happier and play better?????

ummm no ?

Bump.

After watching Dylan Grimes comeback match last night (and being annoyed that we didn't pick him up as a late pick in his draft year), I'm wondering who is the next Grimes brother in line for an AFL chance?

I know we do not pick players just because they are the brother of a current player, that was one of the justifications that some used for not snaffling Dylan up. A good decision? No.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
