Is MM clear of contract commitments with Magpies in 2013 and would we be interested in him taking over as coach if Melbourne were in this position at the same time next year?

Won't happen. Next ....

but you suggested this time next year your faith would be tested if Melb were at a similar position? Mick is clear of the Pies next year? Melbourne are two wins and MN has a 5 year plan.

Get off the Malthouse train. We have Neeld. Give him a good go at it first before we try and even think about a replacement.

So that's a yes

Never said any such thing. Too many sangsoms and coke tonight TPM!

A resounding NO.

Give Neeld a good go of it.

2 seasons ain't a good go.

Malthouse helps us out in little ways here and there anyways, keep your ear to the ground and you'll see when and where he assists us. Only minorly, but he still assists.

Ok Stinger but what's "a good go at it"

its still school holidays huh!!!

4 years in my opinion.

If we are still finishing 16th in 3 years time then maybe 3 but I recon 4 plus years is fair in giving Neeld and Co. a chance to turn this club around.

How about we show some faith in the coach who has been in control for 11 games. Some brilliant threads are popping up lately!
