????? how would an afl lackey know what a NT judge is going to decide sometime in the future. pure speculation. afl person should be censured himself

Do you think it will actually get to the stage of the judge deciding on things? I can see the battery of lawyers making a deal before hand for slap on the wrist sentence and the judge simply signing off on it.

I wouldn't have a clue Ralph (nor would some afl lackey talking out of turn), anything is possible

Thanks for that Judge Hatchman

Just because he is a good football does not give him an out.

Do the crime, do the time

May well be the result

Whether he is indigenous or not let the courts decide on the facts black or white im sure if it was some melbourne born player he would already have been judged

It began in the Herald Sun the next day after the alleged assault .

As it would for any footballer involved in a serious crime

A mighty big if cfh!

He is in more trouble than the early explorers.

I have a horrible gut feeling we might have seen almost the last of him.

If the normal MFC luck holds out he will be gone away for 5

I can wait five weeks

If he gets back, it will be a bonus for us. He's not the game changer M. Clark is. He's the icing on top.

I think the potential of Jurrah if fit and free is limitless.

Has anyone else noticed that the last few weeks, Misson on melbournefc.com.au speaks through every injury on our list, but for last few weeks the only player not spoken about is Jurrah.

Have to think there's something wrong there. have a feeling they're keeping him out until court case is over

This isn't the US where you can do plea deals, and judges don't just 'sign off' on anything. Sorry but that's just not how it works.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
