Today was just another reason why we are where we are. It just emphasises more than we must recruit a Dangerfield, Viney and and really good fast and smart midfielder who can win his own ball ( Marc Murphy type)

Couldn't believe the stats half way through the third we had 20 more hits and 0 to advantage. I think other teams have worked Jamar out, he tends to constantly drop the ball at his feet, an old fashion thump down the ground was needed at times today

Jamar is Jamar. Where was Beamer?

Puffed out again??

Over rated player.

WE NEED TO TRADE AND THROW MONEY AT THE NECESSARY AVAILABLE GUN MIDFIELDER!! Ideas anyone?

There was a ball up today where Jamar absolutely dominated West, had eons to tap the ball wherever he wanted to, but chose to put it literally three inches from his feet. It's absolutely moronic to do that, and I cannot for the life of me understand why he continually chooses to take that option. It's as though he doesn't really appreciate what the purpose of winning ruck taps is.

I saw Sellar hit one out with both fists that actually went to our advantage. Jamar may need to review how he is tapping.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
