I always suspected it, but now I firmly believe that our greatest failings (mores than lack of pace) are our "hands"... we just cannot get the ball out of scrimmages because we fumble, we are constantly hand balling incorrectly so it falls short and we are unable to, with just a few exceptions, hold marks.

Well....it was a 143 point improvement.

Perfect timing considering my post that was made at exactly the same time as yours :-D

If Geelong kicked strait we would have been thumped so hard.

The team had a crack but we are still so far off the mark.

Thank God for Mitch Clark.

A real shame Clark couldn't finish after the great grab. Some positives, there was a certain amount of hung for the footy, not enough, but something. What always impresses me about the cats is when they're under pressure they just seem to have a plan, they fire a handball out and low and behold there's someone waiting for it.

They work for each other, something that I feel is on the improve with us but still nowhere near the standard.

Any commentator that bagged us for getting Clark should be eating his words, he's probably leading our B&F count. Great game from him and Frawley today.

Not sure the cats ever got out of second gear but still way too good.

As expected - surely no-one thought a win was possible?

They're at the top of their game 95% of the time

We're showing glimpses 5% of the time.

It'll take time.

Chip BOG.

Effort good.

Plenty of work to do on decision making with and without the ball and on the fitness level required to sustain the workrate.

But we knew that.
