Did anybody else hear Harry O'brian's speech on SEN today? Ha Ha thought he was gonna break-out in a rendition of "we are the world"

For some reason this bloke just gives me the sh1ts.

He is a good footballer but i'm sick of seeing him all over the visual and audio media. He is a media [censored] at the moment and there is perhaps a whiff of arrogance about him that i just don't like.

Then again if you are part of a dominant premiership team you have every right to be arrogant and hopefully that will be our team soon...

I just wish he was playing for us.

Harry "Media [censored]" O'Brien. Never has a mid tier footballer had so much air time.

Mid-tier??? If he is mid-tier, I wish we had a few more mid-tier players going around for us! And what's with this "Media [censored]" business? The media approach him or the club send him to the media; I doubt very much he actually chases the media around. I thought we had out-grown this whole tall poppy syndrome thing a long time ago... seems I was wrong.

This guy is an a-grade tool. What makes him a respectable opinion on anything?? I wish he'd just shut up! Thinks he's some sort of world leader - stick to chasing a Sherrin around mate.

i don't!!! always panics when he has the ball, his get out card is to just run as fast as he can, take a bounce, just to look good and slam it on his boot as far as he can, to only have it come back over his head. A self indulgent [censored]!!

Check out the first response - seriously, some people should have to get a license before being allowed to use the internet...

tres funny

and harryo actually cracks it for two white-maggots

Can't stand hearing/seeing his interviews. Thinks he is so wise and in touch with 'the real world'. Complete [censored].

Been watching a bit of Harry O this year. His defending deep is only average, and he does panic and just run and pump it long at times. Luckily he has Travis Cloke often near where they kick will land.

That said his work rate is amazing and he's a tough opponent.

His media stuff gives me the sh1ts as well. I think he's well meaning, but probably just needs to think a bit more before he opens his gob. I've heard less of him this year thanfully.

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
