Don't start me off, I am trying to be positive.

I thought only one year to go was positive.

I honestly cannot see him getting many games.

He will be gracing Casey most weeks IMHO.

If we are any good, that will be correct.

It is amazing to see how excited the young players are and how happy they are to interact with Dees supporters. Most of them couldn't stop smiling at the club day today.

Wish Max Gawn would shave the beard off, he looks better without it.

A Small Aside

Do not think I am a snob but I went to a local Park yesterday with my wife and GD for a picnic etc.

There are some very ordinary humans on this Earth, My God what are we turning Australia into?

And these were "real Aussies" Not an Asian, middle eastern or North African person in sight.

Perhaps we could swap a "Very ordinary Aussie" for every boat person we let in!

mmmmmmm.

their was a lady with red hair,PH

she put up a proposal to send every bit of nuff nuff english trash back home.

unfortunately didnt get the popular vote ,to make this dream come true.

there is nights when i have a cuppa on the porch and hope we can send the commision dole bludgers back.

not be atm.

maybe we will vote for a dictator one day and get our own flag ,this could be the catalyst for sending back the trash.

Been there quite often dc

could not hold a candle to yesterday.

I sense some class elitism sneaking into this thread. I wont have it! We of the Romsey gentry are the only elite hereabouts.

This mob would make the Romsey un elite look like Rocket scientists.

No un elite here OD. We are all doers of good. We have due sympathy for natives, migrants and poor people in general. Our servants are well fed and get one day off per month - no meals that day of course.

My wife is of Asian descent and it frustrates me that if you saw her walking a park one day you would not classify her as a "real Aussie".

I realise the implication of your post is actually praising immigrants compared to those who may be born here, but it still left a foul taste in my mouth.

Sorry Choke It was meant to be the exact reverse.

I was trying to suggest as you guessed that these are the exact people that often criticize Asian origin people.

I had a similar experience come home from the football last year after a night game.

Whatever the reason Sorry for offending you

What you went to BBO's local park in Romsey?

Bet you don't publish those mixed bloodlines in Borewood DC.

no need to publish bbo if one moves in the right circles

What you went to BBO's local park in Romsey?

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
