I think our performances will be improved to the rest of the year.

It will be interesting to see how the AFL reacts and which way they go as to player assistance, if any. As I have said before, money itself will not solve the onfield performance. Coaching, recruiting and development will all play their part.

Redleg there is nothing new in the following however i feel complelled to make it again.

I have always believe you play to win every game.

When the season ends you start worrying about draft picks.

Numerous teams have shown you can build your list without very earlier picks.

The MFC during the period 2008 - 2011 tried to be too clever and we know where that ended.

The AFL knows we are in poor straits both on and off the field.

IMO the team is not capable of winning more than another two or three games at the max for the balance of this year.

We need to remember so far we have beaten GWS and the Dogs who are of similar talent to ourselves.

Baring a miracle I cannot see much improvement for the remainder of the year.

I would love it to and the AFL reduce assistance.

IMO the assistance will not alter between now and the end of the year.

Reality will return next Sunday.

It is the thing called hope, OD. A narrow win over the Dogs doesn't change much, as you said, but at least now there is the prospect of going to the footy without wondering why we bothered on the way home.

The reality is was 99% crap and Propaganda.

To get an advantage you needed to eat massive volume of carrots over a long period of time and even then the affect was marginal.
