LOL, everyone kicking goals except for..... WATTS

did not realise that this would be up for debate after watching the TIO game v Port last year!!

I know...i am suprised..80 points and people are calling it pathetic. It is great & no injuries thus far..Take it any day.

bail is becomin a star

10pts to go

13 goal kickers good result

enjoyn wonas 6 tackles and jurrahs 5 today

MFC need a 100 point win... not likely.

WOW, can not wait to see the pies play them. its going to be embarrassing..

pies will beat them by 200 points

Regardless of the state of the kicking, I'm fine with that sort of win...the 3rd Quarter sounds like it was v. disappointing, but the rest of the game we were strong.

90 Points

GC 9.15.69

Melb 23.21.159

Full Time

90 points is great going into the Bye...take that happily.

Carlton: 171-52 (119)

Bulldogs: 122-51 (71 pts)

Demons: 159-69 (90 pts)

13 individual goal kickers, 8 multiples goal kickers. I'm very happy with the forward line minus Watts (back to Casey).

I know it sounds all but ridiluous to be unsatisfied to the poinnt of annoyed with a 90 point win but that was not a particulalrly skillful win. Many blatantly simple errors. Poor kicking.. ( actually to the point of abysmal )

Thats 4pts the hard way really.

6 Disposals, 5 marks in a quarter isn't a bad effort for a sub.

Subs are getting a rough ride. It has become a transition to VFL.

a betting man would put their money on that... (serious comment)

Silly to have him as a sub. But agree with your post.

Being an ex pat, i was watching it live on LIVEafl. Some of the sledging of Bailey, Watts and the team in general on here is out of control. I'm really hoping most of it came from teenagers who wouldn't know their bums from their elbows, but just ease up on it a bit guys! Wasn't pretty, was obviously tough conditions and we won by 90 points.

Shut the hell up already!! I can't hear the song!

Agreed, sounded like he had a good quarter. Hopefully he does play in the bye for Casey.

Seriously if we kicked straight and didn't get a world record for posters we would of won by over 100

Agreed...Melburnians do not understand Humidity. 90 points is a top effort, the final Q we smashed them.

Casey have a bye as well I believe.

Did the humidity disappear in the fourth quarter? I thought that was the reason GC got on top of us in the third? After all, you said they have been training in these conditions for a year... maybe the humidity only affects one team at a time? Is that it?

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
