The leauge has moved the Bucs/Miami game to week 11.. Huge blow for both sides, following week 11 the Bucs now have 2 road games @ Atlanta and @ Green Bay... While Miami now come off MNF to Tampa, throw their London game in and their schedule got all that harder. Will definitely make making playoffs tougher

Righto Macca, we'll see how long I last before I forget to put my tips in

Let's start with

Falcons

Steelers

(shudder) Eagles

I have  the same issue GTB so I generally put the tips in early.

I post up the lines (see below) as a reminder to myself!

Here they are again seeing we're on a new page ...

Wow. Eagles?

I'm a fan, but jeez. I can't see us getting anywhere near Giants or Cowboys... and probably struggling against Skins TBH.

Cowboys most likely lose Elliott for 6 weeks which sends their offense back to earth and their defense is ordinary. They aren't better than a 10 win team. Giants defense is legit but their offense can't run the ball or protect Eli, again, they shouldn't win more than 10 games. Eagles have a chance to be very good on both sides of the ball if the additions at corner and WR work out.

Steelers

Panthers

Falcons

Do give my Jags a chance this week as long as Bortles isn't actually killed by Watt or Clowney. Interested to see how Fournette goes in his first game.

Every morning I get up and look to see if Donald is back, every day I cry.

I truly have no freaking idea where the Rams will end up.

Anyone give KC a chance tomorrow?

I'd like nothing better than to see the Pats get beaten but I can't see it.  Hope it's close at least.

TBH Macca I do. First games throw up strange matches and I think KC have some decent weapons, no Edelson for Pats is huge.

All I can think about is Belichick and what new game-winning idea he comes through with.  Andy Reid's teams are nearly always in the contest though so it could be a close one.

A big night of sport tomorrow night ... Footy,  NRL & NFL.

I'm home to watch it live too, can't wait.

Brady has to show some signs of being 84 years old soon...

KC defence looked like they had 2 players less than the Pats. Brady found wide open players without even trying.

AFL East - Pats

North - Steelers

West - Raiders

South -  Texans

Broncos - Bengals WC

AFC Raiders v Pats

Pats win

NFC East - Giants

North - Packers

West - Seattle

South - Panthers

Atlanta - Cowboys WC

NFC Seattle v Atlanta

Seattle win

Pats/ Seahawks Super Bowl.

Hawks win by 2

Nothing I've seen in the first half has convinced me that the pats won't be a force, even without Edelmen.

Chiefs are doing well but pats seem to be in 3rd gear.

KC have dialled it up to 11! Hunt has been huge. Pats need to do well a... pats to get them outta this.

I listened to the game (on & off) but that is an impressive win.  They were saying that the Pats have only lost 6 home games in 10 years and only 1 of those 6 was an AFC team.

Was a good game to watch, Pats started on fire, but KC jus hung in their, the. They blew them away second half. Few injuries to both teams by the end.

Ended up watching extended highlights and the Chiefs were great.  Alex Smith's best game?  Kareem Hunt had some sort of game too.

Smith looked great. I think he is a solid QB. Hunt was Immense, especially after fumbling his first ever carry, he didn't drop his bundle but bucked up and got going.

All sensible (except for the 6 games part. Seems he's playing the year now).

I reckon though it's a more-or-less league-wide opinion that while Zeke is good, it's the OL that makes this team. They made two rookies of the year in Dak and Zeke. If they're all there, fit and playing... then I don't think it matters who they give it to. personally I have Boys at 12-4... possibly 14-2... at WORST 10-6 as you say, on the strength of that OL and Dak. Also I think their D will improve a lot. They've put a lot of work into it. Lee is still there, Lawrence, Taco. They've snuck up on us.

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
