What a crap article.... For one the Rams have beaten 2 sides in their divison who were highly fancied coming into the season. Two, who cares that they are 3-1 & the same as the Pats, surely this reporter knows that in the NFL sides have easier schedules, harder schedules, to be 3-1 doesn't mean your on the same level. Like I've come to work out all you have to do is win your divison... The rams have beaten the 2 sides tipped to fight out the divison, surely the reporter can give some credit where it's due because for all his negatives they should be positives the Rams are getting it done with Keenum as QB & Gurley not firing.

I agree with some of the article. We are not a great team, I for one am stoked to be 3-1 but by no means am I thinking playoffs. Our D isnt as good and our O is still very poor, but somehow we are getting the job done. I still think Fisher is not the answer.

Our problem hasnt been winning in our division. Its beating other teams. We have the Bills this week. Giants, Pats, Panthers over the next 8.

Carolina have dropped off the face of the earth. There was always talk of Newton but last year they had a great defense with an attitude to match. Losing Norman to Washington hurts on the field but it seems they have lost all their swagger as well.

And in my mind that's the rams problem. Most bad teams will lose in bad fashion and keep losing.  Fisher seems to lose and the team look flat and directionless. Then come some wins from no where and fisher is safe. This year the division  is up for grabs and I hope LA have found their groove.

I'm truly torn, I want us to win but I don't think Fisher is the coach to take us forward. We may be the swans under Paul Roos, just a dour, ugly football team. But if we win a superbowl I'm ok with that. :)

Vikes keep going. No sacks this week. I would love to see them break the total sacks record held by the 85 bears but I don't think that'll happen. OBJ had 23 yards receiving. Something this defense does is shut down the number 1 receiver. I don't think the vikes are there yet but the NFC is a open race at the moment.

Vikes were good.

Beckham is too easily distracted and put off his game.

Vike D pressured Manning to the point he was grounding balls 2 seconds before he needed to.

Points tally in the comp

1 - JV7,  Gorgoroth,  cowboy_from_hell,  DeeSpencer

0 - The usual gang

We're up to week 5 and this week there's 2 points up for grabs (same for weeks 7, 9, 11, 13 & 15) ... week 17 carries 3 points.  Another tough week though, all the same.

Oh this weeks games are horrible to tip. Most home teams should win...

Might have to chose an upset or two.

Cards

Pats

Bengals

Not sold on the cards even though they have to show something but Stanton looks like he could be the starter with Palmer out with concussion

New England

Philly

Buffalo

With zero confidence ...

Patriots

Eagles

Bengals

Pats Philly Cincy

Did not expect to go into Denver & win... Critics will say without Siemian their offense struggled but Lynch was under the pump all day from our pass rush, yeah Siemian would have done better but the Broncos Oline was horrible. Our Oline was awesome & the 1-2 coleman freeman punch stood up with Julio been quiet... I'll reserve my excitement for this team they fell in a whole last year although beating both superbowl sides from last year in consecutive weeks is encouraging... On to Seattle! Did we all miss out on the tipping again this week ?

Just saw the fake punt attempt by the Rams Gorgoroth... Thoughts  ?

I'm taking Atlanta seriously. Denver like the vikes win with defense first and then with a reliable offense. Atlanta look the goods. So many questions after this week. Are Dallas for real? What's happened to Cincinnati? Can Cleveland find a healthy QB on planet earth? Is Brady human? Is 1 point enough to take out the tipping comp?

On Dallas, is Romo a certaint starter when he is fully fit ? Prescott performed well again. Will be interesting to see how they handle it..

That's a hard one. You can't fault Dak but he Has had the running game to see him through. I suppose the earlier Romo starts the earlier he gets injured.

Not out best attempt, but we do have a good record with them.

Missing 3 of our starting Dline hurts, our secondary is poo. What I would give to still have McLeod and Jenkins in Rams colours.

Gurley is still getting smashed as our oline is plop.

This monday night game is horrible... Turnovers, bad play calling, missed field goals, over thrown passes, under thrown passes. The bucs kicker whom they traded up to get with their 2nd pick has problems, missed 46 & 33 yad FG tonight & is 3 from 7 this year!!

I've not watched it.  Still too depressed after seeing Trumaine Johnson injured and Jenkins playing well for the Giants...

The Packers oline are amazing. They protect Rodgers so well.

We're out of synch though and need to get better in a hurry.  Rodgers is nearly always rusty after a bye or a week off but he's still a ways off his best, all the same.  The Giants were even more unimpressive.

I might even pick your Rams this week ... these are the sort of games that the Rams win.

The Falcons are flying ... some very impressive wins in this run and your schedule starts getting easier soon

3 games clear of the Panthers ... Carolina's season is just about shot already.  Who predicted that?

Ha!  Prescott is making the decision to bring in Romo a difficult one.

Nice position to be in, all the same.

Anyway, your Vikings are 5 & 0 without Teddy & AP. Amazing.

Gonna be hard to chase down by the looks of it.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
