Nick Davis

Just wondering what your thoughts are on Nick Davis

obviously a lot of conjecture going on about him but I believe given the right environment and a coach who cares he could be a valuable asset to our club. A lot of people will have negative things to say however he is on his last chance and he knows it which makes me think he may pull his head in under bails' guidance. Anyway cant be worse than John Meesen.

Useless to us, absolutely. No Thanks!

I'd be in favour of Davis if we could draft him with our 5th round draft pick (if Warnock re-signs with Freo) and he's prepared to play at a rookies wage or performance based contract.

The guy's a gun on his day- fantastic mark for his size, a proven goal kicker and almost single handedly won his side the 06' flag...not to mention that heroic last qtr V Geelong in the 2005 semi final. Yes his main negative is that he's a selfish tool, but I hear he's improved as a person.

Sometimes you've gotta take risks to succeed, and I could see Davis being our leading goal kicker next year with 55-60 gls.

But the club won't go for him due to our under 23 policy, and thats fair enough.

No. And for creating this thread, a 3 month ban should be imposed for even contemplating the idea!

He plays for Nick Davis not the team, too old. Goes against Bailey and football departments blueprint.

At Collingwood for the year he was there they nicknamed him " Harvey Norman"......12 months and no interest!

Quite funny those at the filth.

But Davis was there for four..

But Davis was there for four..

Maybe he played 12 months the other 3 yrs a waste...

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
