I’m the proudest I’ve ever been as a member

I know this sounds odd….

and appears completely out of the blue…..

but I’m the proudest I’ve ever been as a member, and I’m excited with the direction my footy club is heading.

....just had to let you know.....

Bring on the next 5 years I say!

I am with you on this one, more work has been done in the last 12 months than in 45 years, we are going forward and blue sky's are coming.

Apart from promises and plans ( none of which have come to fruition ) and a coach advocating youth (because of a poor senior list ) what is there to be proud about ?

I love the club , and I love the colours , and I love the history , but I see nothing yet to suggest that we are on any sort of road to recovery on any level ; please explain your seemingly baseless remark .

Must say I walked away feeling very proud of the boys today. Gutsy effort all day and pressure all over the ground which i reckon shellshocked Tasmania today. Positives everywhere. Only disappointment was the turn out to wave of Nieta, ordinary!!

Bit harsh joeboy - I was excited today about the onfield direction, with all the 'new' names sticking it up to the Hawks and there are plans afoot for home base negotiations and new sponsors on the horizon. The comments were not 'baseless', merely borne of passion.

We took it right up to them today with a bunch of no-names. All kids havin a dip. If you couldnt see that joe boy then your the winner!

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
