  1. A small part of me wants this to be false - such is my dislike for Tom Morris
  2. With Fritsch playing while hampered, I'm sure he's getting regular scans to monitor the injury.
  3. It doesn't appear the umpires are accountable for their performance these days. I totally appreciate how difficult the game is to umpire and that the AFL needed to stamp out umpire abuse at all levels of the game. This is reflected by commentators glossing over or ignoring umpiring mistakes. Having said that, it seems it's gone too far the other way with the same umpires showing up week after week making bad calls, getting sucked in by the theatre of the game to make crowd-pleasing calls and/or failing to learn from or improve on their mistakes. Further, to me anyway, they seem to have at times, increasing influence on the momentum of games. The North v Carlton game, earlier in the year was a classic example of this. Do these guys get dropped like players for poor performances?
  4. I think if Hunter had done anything else (excluding running away from the contest), Rozee might have had a more significant injury. We should challenge the ban. We would be providing a service for all footy fans by exposing Christian as the inept clown he is.
  5. IMO, his limited ability to hit a target is the thing that keeps him out of the AFL side.
  6. Not disputing that, but I do in fact, have Bowza the Bull (obviously No. 17), but he's a little tetchy at the moment and not taking photo requests.
  7. Agree. If left unchecked, it wouldn't be long before most bench players started lining up to scream abuse. Admire his passion though.
  8. This is Harmsey and @old55
  9. Yeah, I know. Just not keen on Jordon (the other realistic option) being the one to make way, but maybe Jordon to sub
  10. In: Brown, Spargo, Hibbo Out: JVR (susp), Turner, Harmes Also if required in Schache, out Fritsch (managed) if required
  11. In the next decade or so, we might have a lean year (like Richmond is having now). I don't want us to be shunted to Marvel in the unlikely event that we aren't winning. The G is our home this year, next, and forever.
  12. I realise it's not imminent, but has he given much thought to life after footy and what he wants to do?
  13. I thought that myself. The chin's bog standard. They should've called him Jaws
  14. 6 Petracca 5 Oliver 4 Brayshaw 3 Slick Chandler 2 Grundy 1 Lingers
  15. He works extra hard and his skills are a cut above! Slick!
  16. I was hoping some of the old codgers would be managed this week with the short turnaround - May and Hibberd. Similarly, I hope the mids are rotated out of the centre a little more for Kozzie, JJ and Sparrow. Of course we won't take Norf lightly!
  17. I'm sure it only set them back a few mil in consulting fees.
  18. Total jerk. Jackson is an emerging super talent and Grundy is an all-Australian around the peak of his powers. Comparing the two as though on equal footing is ridiculous, although to be expected from Cornes the Clown
