  1. Depends on numerous things but read my prev posts bud
  2. The more I think about it the more we may be getting annihalated by loading! Bye didn’t help but last qtr vs cats was more about silky handballs that turned to direct turnover goals to cats it’s that simple! Viney is ok, just a stinger. Clarry looking ok now fingers crossed! Petty working back, May 💯 has a back injury it’s just his it is and weeks out won’t help apparently. Loading hard for finals may be the difference this year if it’s been as hard as reported so let’s be thankful we can now gather some momentum being in BBB to help create a mismatch with resting tuck instead of seeing them labour and be nothing but poor defensively and get some fwd cohesion — remember it’s the wet that’s killed us, that and poor goal kicking in Freo game. So we’re on track! ANB genuinely under pressure now given the turnovers and others issues he’s having atm, this week I think we might even see Woey depending if Clarry is fit. Brown, Clarry and Bowser the ins with Woey a chance if Hibbs needs a rest or if Clarry doesn’t come up.
  3. It’s got to be BBB time now — that’s the movement and run we needed to see! So despite me wanting Petty fwd, seems it won’t happen unless Smith plays small, which isn’t impossible but BBB, JVR, Fritta has a MUCH nicer look and would worry ANY defence o don’t care what anyone says! Cats game a write-off for me in those conditions it’s always a slogfest & Cats got lucky with us being too cute i50 — Dry conditions that fwd setup would be great to see! If we go Petty over Smith or BBB then Disco/Tommo play for Petty spot down-back. MY CHANGES: *If Petty stays back (which I doubt) IN: BBB, Bowey, Clarry OUT: Jordon, Chandler, Spaz (sad but who else?!?!) *If Petty returns fwd IN: Bowey, BBB OUT: Jordon, Chandler/JVR (IF JVR rested, if not which I’d prefer, just to see JVR/BROWN/PETTY/FRITTA combo I’d drop Chandler, Fritta/Koss/Nibbs enough smalls as Smith is also capable playing small) THIS is the fwd setup I’m bloody DYING to see and BBB showed his run this week for first time this year to cover ground doing exactly what they want him to do. His Di is hung much needed and we’d have 4/5 lethal finishers as well, Koss deep with Smith HHF & Nibs slightly deeper at times since BBB can get up ground, Brayshaw to play HHF at times)
  4. One is my profile pic — SO good but cut down by injury others: Ingersole, Obst, Moo, Walsh, Whelan
  5. Fair enough but personally I rkn our back 10 is cohesive irrespective of Gameday combo! issues is a bit rich too if I’m honest — ESS got hot & pressure lacking up field meant they got good looks at it and we lost Lever pre game whom has a solid 1/1 def % and would’ve crunched a HEAP of those long balls
  6. It actually puts them behind schedule due to the total km difference and lower intensity of VFL footy
  7. Who says he isn’t match-fit? No WAY he’d be playing if he wasn’t bit only match fit but loaded at same level of all others in his position. Ergo Clarry decision — hospital visit mean the isn’t loaded enough and shows the maturity of the coaching group and ensures come finals our team win the full of u overcooked-under rested meat!!!
  8. You don’t think our back 6 have cohesion?!?? Gimme a spell — It’ll be dewy as and Max behind ball is effectively same as playing Tommo but with added flex of Smith/Petty duality for ultimate matchups maximisation. I rkn if Hibbo plays it’s a lock he will take Cameron and Max will be behind ball!
  9. Absolutely my first thought. But as per my post I rkn somethings afoot and am really hoping to see max man Hawk as behind ball ploy and to see Gawndy split ground 50/50 & play 75-85% GT each.. there’ll be a late change for sure imho
  10. Petty or Smith Will play back IF required but I think max is gonna play behind the ball and we will see the first true showing of Gawndy now that Grundy has his fitness — This was ALWAYS the intention (both play 80% GT & one is fwd whilst one is behind the ball) as well as the odd time to stretch oppo d50 as 4th tall Ala pre-season. this is my top pick but below could also be what’s up! Goody continuing the new experimenting ethos and I love it!!! We need to find out all the best situational strategic ploys and this is excitingly the first time I think we will see it.. can’t WAIT!!! Could also be a genuine double-switch ie Smith/Petty fwd/back rotation depending on match-ups and game time love feedback to keeP teams guessing who’s gonna be fwd or back. Finally, wouldn’t surprise to see Gus//Hibbo rest/mngd for Woey late change nor Brown/JVR w/Petty back — so many possibilities and that’s what has me so excited.. we have NO IDEA what’s gonna happen which means neither does Scott 👏🏻
  11. All good mate I’m not bothered was just anecdotal haha Michael McIntyre is in town? Nice one — hope you enjoyed it mate
  12. Just realised no one is gonna get my post — I’m having a dig at myself for asking Andy in live-chat for not having it up yet and why it was so short this week (tuned it on 950 wondering why it had ended so early 😂) SO glad I can listen live tonight.. but I swear LW you said Tues night hahaha
  13. When’s podcast up? Still not showing in iTunes.. cmon bit slack Andy 😆
  14. I would love to know what you guys thought about the following: A great win, one that Binman and I predicted (should we kick straight, boy that nearly proved literally spot-on) & some rather interesting Q's come about as a result. -- Smith's competitive streak, clear strong defensive skills, chasing, contest work and good hands: Pose an interesting quandary with Petty Likely to resume at the Cattery... What do we do with a fwd line that now has 1 too many??? DO we include Petty, Keep smith and leave out Spargo or Chin? Do we drop Smith? (something after weekend I would be against) or do we send Petty back, drop Tommo? (unlikely given excellent form of Tommo on Monday & that Petty/JVR felt like right tall mix with Gawn/Grundy resting) OR Do we somehow drop JVR? (absolutely impossible given his competitive spirit for contest, ability ot bring ball to ground, good finishing, and fact he is our future and looks closer to breaking out to a certified gun each week (IMHO only confidence about being the true alpha at the level is all that is holding him back) PLENTY to consider there... Also interested in what happens with Clarry, Bowser back, to Gus... A genuine headache, given backline doesn't need him and i think his i50 kick is needed therefore better downfield, does he go to HFF??? Rotate through with Spaz? Some definite Questions that require time & likely curveballs (injuries etc) to be answered. I personally also think Woey/Howes still will come into the lineup before year is out, to see if it gives us an edge ala Bowser prior to 2021 finals... As a final thought I'd love a theory on this as well... Great win, but it does offer up A LOT to discuss :)
  15. 6 Viney 5 Rivers 4 Hunter 3 Salem 2 Tomlinson 1 Lever Love being right in terms of where I think we are at, primed for this one! Kick straight and its a 6-8G win!!! All duck, no dinner -- Ed was spot-on and the playing group was eager to show it, despite nearly costing themselves. Expected score must of been 90-50 type stuff surely...
  16. Nick Martin is just wow! Same trajectory as Hird right now. Howes is a terrific prospect but not quite as silky as Martin or the goal sense but has a floor of someone like Acres or ceiling of say Bailey Dale or Redman!
  17. Hayden McLean, Oscar Allen & Georgiadis are the ones to watch here…
  18. Jack Martin would’ve been a great had he chose Melbourne!!!
  19. He’s a mix of Butters, Laird & Viney IMHO — Now that’s not necessarily how good he will be but that’s his ceiling! His floor would be a hybrid of say Caldwell & Connor MacDonald. He is def low key and under the radar atm for his ability, ergo HS article that’s about “Father Sons dominating” the Games, it mentions Ashcroft, Croft, Watson but not Brown. 105 SuperCoach points (Ashcroft 125, Watson 116, Croft 98 w/4 Goals) is a solid outing & let’s hope there’s 5% being held back by some sound advice from dad & JT!!! Exciting prospect. Butters went pick 12 remember & Laird was a rookie 😎
  20. Yep, fair point — just was only thing he said that really made sense for current footy, all else were a bit nuffy imho! Hearing Max will engage Moore for 70% of this one which excites me, Kossie at his feet & not flying for speccy if the decade fits nicely as well. Grundy will relish the 70% Ruck work & act as extra clearance help at ground with Clarry missing. Sparrow or Viney for best on!!! Sidebottom HUGE out as is Elliot, If we kick straight we win, of that I have no doubt!
