  1. All good mate Iโ€™m not bothered was just anecdotal haha Michael McIntyre is in town? Nice one โ€” hope you enjoyed it mate
  2. Just realised no one is gonna get my post โ€” Iโ€™m having a dig at myself for asking Andy in live-chat for not having it up yet and why it was so short this week (tuned it on 950 wondering why it had ended so early ๐Ÿ˜‚) SO glad I can listen live tonight.. but I swear LW you said Tues night hahaha
  3. Whenโ€™s podcast up? Still not showing in iTunes.. cmon bit slack Andy ๐Ÿ˜†
  4. I would love to know what you guys thought about the following: A great win, one that Binman and I predicted (should we kick straight, boy that nearly proved literally spot-on) & some rather interesting Q's come about as a result. -- Smith's competitive streak, clear strong defensive skills, chasing, contest work and good hands: Pose an interesting quandary with Petty Likely to resume at the Cattery... What do we do with a fwd line that now has 1 too many??? DO we include Petty, Keep smith and leave out Spargo or Chin? Do we drop Smith? (something after weekend I would be against) or do we send Petty back, drop Tommo? (unlikely given excellent form of Tommo on Monday & that Petty/JVR felt like right tall mix with Gawn/Grundy resting) OR Do we somehow drop JVR? (absolutely impossible given his competitive spirit for contest, ability ot bring ball to ground, good finishing, and fact he is our future and looks closer to breaking out to a certified gun each week (IMHO only confidence about being the true alpha at the level is all that is holding him back) PLENTY to consider there... Also interested in what happens with Clarry, Bowser back, to Gus... A genuine headache, given backline doesn't need him and i think his i50 kick is needed therefore better downfield, does he go to HFF??? Rotate through with Spaz? Some definite Questions that require time & likely curveballs (injuries etc) to be answered. I personally also think Woey/Howes still will come into the lineup before year is out, to see if it gives us an edge ala Bowser prior to 2021 finals... As a final thought I'd love a theory on this as well... Great win, but it does offer up A LOT to discuss :)
  5. 6 Viney 5 Rivers 4 Hunter 3 Salem 2 Tomlinson 1 Lever Love being right in terms of where I think we are at, primed for this one! Kick straight and its a 6-8G win!!! All duck, no dinner -- Ed was spot-on and the playing group was eager to show it, despite nearly costing themselves. Expected score must of been 90-50 type stuff surely...
  6. Tolstoys Nudge replied to Turner's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Nick Martin is just wow! Same trajectory as Hird right now. Howes is a terrific prospect but not quite as silky as Martin or the goal sense but has a floor of someone like Acres or ceiling of say Bailey Dale or Redman!

Hayden McLean, Oscar Allen & Georgiadis are the ones to watch hereโ€ฆ

Jack Martin wouldโ€™ve been a great had he chose Melbourne!!!
  9. Heโ€™s a mix of Butters, Laird & Viney IMHO โ€” Now thatโ€™s not necessarily how good he will be but thatโ€™s his ceiling! His floor would be a hybrid of say Caldwell & Connor MacDonald. He is def low key and under the radar atm for his ability, ergo HS article thatโ€™s about โ€œFather Sons dominatingโ€ the Games, it mentions Ashcroft, Croft, Watson but not Brown. 105 SuperCoach points (Ashcroft 125, Watson 116, Croft 98 w/4 Goals) is a solid outing & letโ€™s hope thereโ€™s 5% being held back by some sound advice from dad & JT!!! Exciting prospect. Butters went pick 12 remember & Laird was a rookie ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  10. Yep, fair point โ€” just was only thing he said that really made sense for current footy, all else were a bit nuffy imho! Hearing Max will engage Moore for 70% of this one which excites me, Kossie at his feet & not flying for speccy if the decade fits nicely as well. Grundy will relish the 70% Ruck work & act as extra clearance help at ground with Clarry missing. Sparrow or Viney for best on!!! Sidebottom HUGE out as is Elliot, If we kick straight we win, of that I have no doubt!
  11. Talk about over confident! With Oliver Iโ€™d be super confident, without I rkn itโ€™s gonna be an epic struggle! But like fact weโ€™re ๐Ÿ’ฏ gonna try to take on their ball mvmt head-on as Chaplin iterated in podcast interview. Gawn to kick 4 on Moore, Grundy to destroy Coxzilla, Dees by 8pts
  12. His best point was about meeting pies attacks head-on and NOT retreatingโ€ฆ Rest are a bit meh
  13. Clearance and cont ball, well we did so against Carlton as it is their 1wood & clearances arenโ€™t about the number itโ€™s about the QUALITY ie back kicks forom an oppo clearance is often BETTER than winning it ourselves!
  14. Yup, as I mentioned 2-3wks back BBB ๐Ÿ’ฏ in after bye has always been plan! When is dependant on swelling of knee being right.. Melksham wouldโ€™ve come in ahead of Smith but now Smith has the spot so heโ€™ll keep it, he helped Fritta immensely, added some speed for pressure, contested at height with leaps & offers versatility if needed so wouldnโ€™t shock me if Tommo goes and Smith plays fwd & heads back if Lever is needed to be freed up! But BBB isnโ€™t done with โ€”- played great footy early this year & finishes well. Right now Iโ€™d back Chandler to go for BBB round 13-15ish.
  15. 6 Petracca 5 May 4 McVee 3 Lever 2 JVR 1 Gawn
  16. Spargo mustnโ€™t be ready, playing it safe. Otherwise heโ€™d be sub (emergency) so pretty obvious he isnโ€™t ready folks
  17. Poor buggerโ€ฆWhat a nightmare!!! kinda love fact that Rick is just cruising in car w/Maysie though, brilliant visual.
  18. Iโ€™d LOVE to know if he opens up re back issue, and confirms itโ€™s impacting his down ability but seemingly not his reaching up ability โ€” prob 10% chance he will give the truth re the injury as club is extremely conscious of OPP exploiting it but if ANYONE owns it, itโ€™ll be Maysy!!! I would also really like to know his thoughts on how heโ€™s feeling about Pies, Lions and how confident he is we will stack up and notably how he feels good clubs are exploring our ground-ball in D50 & why they all seems so supremely confident they can beat us by exploiting that and what club is doing to fix it ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป
  19. Not being nasty, tonality can be hard to portray via message brother
  20. Amen! The irony no one eluded too in his departure was that we DID want him to be part of our defence and FUNNILY enough thatโ€™s WHY he left โ€” Buckley promised to play him as FWD. fact (documented) then after 2-3wks as a fwd, they said NOPE, Soz โ€” youโ€™re a Defender and that was that. So Roosy saved his career really as without those weeks as a DEF at Dees, who knows how heโ€™d of gone at the Pies as a fwd, mightโ€™ve been toast after 2hrs ๐Ÿ˜‚
  21. Then he deserves a vote. Simples! Stop acting like your post had some insightful duality-based wisdom, you said something and I disagreed, no harm done bud.
  22. Hurrah! Finally someone mentioned this. Hope he remains envious, has absolutely stuck boots in esp pre flag and laughed at his time and inc supporter digs, he can walk long on pier of short!
  23. Doesnโ€™t matter, he was still a major reason we WON the game! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ
  24. Disagree
  25. Thought Petracca was fumbly, one paced & altogether off-boil LN
