Most bandaging is PREVENTATIVE only. Approx 70% — ie not post injury taping. Especially ankles and shoulders. So if you rested all taped plates you’d be resting 70% healthy and fit players. god some ppl need to grow up. It’s SWELLING he doesn’t need a damn reco... ALL teams cop injuries, this is just insanity. He will be fine and has been dominating all PS with the swelling g club just want to be sure they are handling correctly.. crikey moses!!!

TRAINING: Friday 22nd January 2021

It’s also the single BIGGEST factor in why MFC are super confident about this season, they blv they can run teams off feet late in quarters and that 4th qtr they’ll have a massive adv. we will see if it is warranted. Also.. word at coterie is our b22 is currently looking completely diff to what many might expect. JJ/Sparrow likely to get inside mid rotation for R1 with extra mid depth needed for aforementioned factors. F50 gonna be very very interesting indeed w/talls spots so competitive. Jackson’s ability to pressure will help and Weid likely to play further up so that might help us get an extra small from elsewhere down there in time to help with pressure and crumbing. Spargo is a lock, that much seems clear. He’s won the smalls spot w/Kossie & both will get mid-time potentially also. -

We are permitted, yes. sorry not smith I meant Hore ie prior to poor bugger doing ACL. I think they even had AB down there for a bit as a learning opp -
Hahahaha cus they the best judges? Mate if u went by posters or track observers for list Mgmt decisions, our list would be FULL of highlight hypers or training drill standout only spuds like NEWTON, TAPSCOTT, BLEASE or COOK or HULETT. let’s let one the best rec teams in the land decide if he is worth it maybe... cool

Can but won’t. Clubs usually only take players training with them as it’s entire point of not using pick at draft - ie wanna see them at the level first

Talent and and the draft aren’t mutually exclusive! ESP this yr due to no exposed form for many of the kids... look at Jeff, he’s the prime example and was even at an AFL club and traded for nothing (Phil Gilbert) and then lured back by the SAME club that traded him. Kobe has shown the talent he has already ask around. What he needed to show and by all accounts is doing so, is his work-rate & perseverance!

He’s a ripper JJ and as per my best 22 post a ways back I think he’ll feature in R1 & be the real breakout star this year w/sparrow to be right up there also. great to hear he was in blue, great signs! Class kid I’m telling you. Choco already rates him as a real Smokey for this year also. Believe it was Smith who got BBB. Love the TMAC wing/fwd move now that he’s trimmed down, THIS is why he excelled 2018 as he was able to rotate fwd when opponents tired or not expecting it and get marks running back pagans paddock style. Another move I had in my best 22 so fingers crossed both pan out. Marty Hore is a great user had a real loss. Must look at replacements. Farmer will 100% take one slot, maybe Majak or Skinner for the other.. few others it could be also inc Scharenburg. -
Really? Your gonna go there? Would you like to be held accountable for every statement and or comparison you make? at the time he was right. List isn’t the issue

Agreed

2020 NATIONAL DRAFT ORDER AND SELECTIONS

What are you talking about? Maybe a decade or so ago but 2016 onwards has been sensational you plum haha -
Nope he comes off list as of right now

Listen champ, to even SUGGEST one of the comps premier players has committed to COLLINGWOOD 2yrs out from when he is out of contract, is loopy as hell!!! But to act like it’s some sort of moral, is downright moronic. CP is a demon and is preparing for a massive year for club and self, anything else is nothing more than scuttlebutt

2020 Player Reviews: #23 James Jordon
Tolstoys Nudge replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
He’ll make it alright... Elite user, can go inside/outside & is working on his explosiveness and lateral movement which will solidify his game and give him a crack at the wing slot. Sparrow though IMHO may go past one of of our mids as early as late next year that kids a bull, composed & ready to EXPLODE!!! -
Projected Best 22's 2021
Tolstoys Nudge replied to AaronDaveyChipsAndGravey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Well... here’s my best guess at what I think the best possible R1 lineup is. This is taking into account a full and promising pre-season obv and where I think the club is hoping the development is personnel wise. Always a bolted form blue for R1 teams so I’m keeping that in mind also.. B: LEVER MAY HARMES HB: RIVERS TOMLINSON SALEM C: JORDON OLIVER LANGDON HF: HUNT WEIDEMAN FRITSCH F: PICKETT B.BROWN JACKSON R: GAWN VINEY PETRACCA I: MELKSHAM, SPARROW, MCDONALD, BRAYSHAW E: HIBBERD, SPARGO, BAKER, HORE NEXT: VB, NIB, JETTA, JONES, PETTY I found this excruciating... so tough! Notes: TMAC will be in the side, mark it down. He will be used in a variety of roles and it will downed largely on the opposition but Wing, Ruck, Floating BK/FWD—Versatility is his friend & boy already he’s lost a min of 6-8kgs & is moving like I haven’t seen in years. backup ruck is no joke of a role and that wing spot is open & OOZE has already indicated that a number of new players will be introduced to the midfield mix. Jordon’s ball use & decision-making skills for me give him a big shot at it and he’s my bolter. Might seem a stretch to call him a ‘bolter’ but when spots are THIS competitive & he’s in the team on a wing that indeed would be a bolt.. Baker I still can’t blv I couldn’t get him in somewhere, all depends on Melksham and his cond & continuity but fully fit and firing he’s too classy to leave out. But Baker is def also in that wing mix with many others inc Jackson (yep), Hunt would be but too same/same with Langdon we need at least one pinpoint disposal i50 hit Brown lead-up threat on a wing so Hunt will be either a permanent back or fwd for mine but either way he IS in, has to be. Harmes, Salem and Fritsch also in that wing mix, Sparrow is a bloody jet, so tough and composed he really could be a star as early as next year and is a lock for mine, prob takes Harmes spot in that mid rotation, but I think we will double down on Harmes down back it just makes sense for our depthchart but I think he will be more lockdown than run and link like they sort of tried to awful effect this year. Tomlinson was so strong in DEF late but he has TMAC/HORE/PETTY clocking at heels and coaches fav Smith. Petty I’m hoping May get that gig long-term but boy I love him fwd but BB in means that’s gonna be too much of a logjam for him to get in so he may stay versatile. I nearly swapped Hore for Tomlinson but as I said he was so solid and Hore now has zero recent form to guide but again they LOVE him had his decision/disposal so again he’s right in mix that’s for sure. Spargo again I thought MUST be in, his ceiling we all saw and reads the ball so well and is crafty by foot (over 12-27m only) so I was horrified to leave him out but Pickett does so much def and only needs 7 touches to turn a game so he has to get nod, and there just isn’t another spot for little Spargs at present. -
That’s the contract that was always gonna he done, for both club and Jackson it’s the right move.

As stated last week, it was never in doubt. People like Jay Clark need to take a long hard look at themselves!!!

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Tolstoys Nudge replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Agree. Dean's have the fitness base. But, Yze has already flagged that mix of Salem, Rivers, Sparrow, Kos, Harmes, Spargo, Baker & Jackson will play midfield mix roles if they can get their burst fitness to where it needs to be. So if Chrisrian can get mid-time but pure outside not inside or centre bounce likesbeen tried prev and does what's needed he def could have impact especially i50 delivery & composite. The club genuinely feels we have betteroptions than Phillips/Polec and that's largely.based on Yze and his views based on ext opinion and reviewing of players done via research so far. -
2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Tolstoys Nudge replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yeah can’t see Berry or Allison being selected but it’s still a great mock draft in terms of info and listing top talent. The Berry appeal is his disposal and would give a POD to current mid group in year or 2. Jordon and Sparrow still doing though though and they both look good to me so I think an electric tall mid-wing-fwd will be what we target but who knows.. ie if a kid like Zach Reid or Chapman are available at 18/19 it won’t matter who we have already we will take them. Cook is far more likely than Berry if available if not We have plenty of great options and there is no doubt in this crop a few Can Brice Nat Fyfe James Hird hidden gems about.. so glad we traded into this draft it could be a real winner if we get some luck!!! NOTE: After missing on Georgiadis I wouldn’t at ALL be surprised if Kaine Baldwin comes into calculations.. His talent is immense and the risk/reward might just be worth it with pick 19/28 which is really 24/36ish) -
2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

This is excellent viewing guys, like the selections but still can’t see Berry being our pick with 18. Maybe 19/28 for sure but I think there are 1-2 ahead of him but he def has loads of talent and uses the ball in manner none of our current mids can (apart form Gus and Trac at times). -
2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Tolstoys Nudge replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Interesting... can’t see it with Berry being inside mid, but if we do keep both picks and 28 he def is talented enough to go there. But I’d be more akin to players like Connor Donnie, Archie Perkins, Macrae (I think we may move up little further to secure him personally, unless mail Is that he will be around at 18 which is possible but with his exquisite foot skills maybe not) O’Driscoll is another I thinks a big chance to be in red and blue, good user and decision maker, line breaking speed AND can go inside as well as outside contest. Others I believe in frame are Archie Perkins who’s got a massive ceiling but is raw & could go anywhere from 7-37. Carroll is def on the radar for sure, Bailey Laurie another id be keeping eye on, a Smokey for 28 I think he can potentially fall that far if we are lucky. B.Cook is another who uses ball well and could be a wing or insider, even flanker. Poulter I like a lot and can see that one being a potential pick but one I’d have ahead of him is a JT Smokey unnamed at this stage but let’s just say he’s not in top50 frame anywhere else at this stage.but he ready for it should he be selected with 28. Hopefully we get him with 50 but I’m hearing we won’t risk it. Zac Dumesny is also rated v highly by JT’s team , another one he’s said to taken a real shine to is Tariek Newchurch, whom oozes X factor dare dash and can play midfield minutes which is the dimension I think appeals, in similar vein to why Joel Western is also in consideration, sublime skills and a fed who could become a mid so expect a bid to come for him. Lastly, I can almost guarantee that if Henry Walsh is available with our last pick #50 (around 57-62) the Dees will jump on him. Talented Ruck (brother of Sam) who has more genuine ruck craft and tapwork than Jackson, so far more a genuine ruck where Jackson may end up more a mid-fwd, but Walsh is improving below knees & is a kid who could become a great ruck/fwd and would add some talent to our lean (bodied) ruck-stocks. So bids on Newchurch, Western and McInnes for sure and who knows we may be able to land one of them.
