And here in lies the problem. We shouldn’t use/need a milestone game for extra motivation. I’m not a fan of themed games either. I’d love to know the stats regarding clubs that lose such games and their performance the week/s after. Look at the Saints and the Spud Frawley game against us. I’m not saying Jones should or shouldn’t play, just don’t use his 300th as the motivation. We should need no more motivation than another win puts us another step closer to a potential top 4 finish and the ever elusive flag.

Just got odds of $6 from Sportsbet for North to go winless this season, was hoping they’d gotten back to me before last week game against the Crows. I know a winless season has never happened before but there’s a first time for everything. I looked at their draw and I can’t see them beating anyone.

I don’t have many, I’ve got the red cards from that year and a green set, from memory there was John Northey, Greg Healy, Strawbs Odwyer, Todd Viney, Ricky Jackson of the top of my head (can’t remember if it was 9 or 10 player cards plus the club emblem). Also some blue ones with Lyon and Stynes. When I was in primary school I would send them to the club and they get them signed and send them back to me. I agree with the comment on the previous page re any player coming in becomes part of our system, but continuity is priceless. I believe we can/should beat Hawthorn easily but Richmond is another challenge all together, but they are gettable. if Petty is to come in for a block of games until May returns it must start this weekend.
