  1. Richmond are blessed, No Hawkins, Selwood and Duncan against them this week and don't start me on their non-existent injury list.
  2. I was almost done after the North loss down in Tassie, that stung more than anything this year. You choose to overcome it in any way possible, kick the dog, smash the TV, drop the F bomb as loud and as many times as possible making sure the whole street hears you. You avoid football for the rest of the weekend and feel that all hope is lost and you just want to give up. Then Monday pops along and you start your weekly tasks albeit with a heavy heart, as Thursday approaches all is almost forgotten, you see the inclusions and we charter off to a new challenge, we discuss our club again and what the weekend will dish up this time. Come Sunday it starts all over again, you cover yourself in red and blue attire from top to bottom. You take your seat and watch the pre game warm-ups, chat with the fella sitting next to you on what the day will bring. When the 22 run out, you become a kid again, you cheer and scream to get your club over the line, what ever it takes! We are Red and Blue, This is what we do!!!
  3. Losses are a part of football no doubt and we have seen many over the last decade. The disappointing aspect over the last two weeks is the fact we couldn't find an extra mile when it counted. We needed someone to stand up and for one reason or another no one seemed to grab the opportunity and say follow me apart from Maxy yesterday. Everything we stood for as a club has vanished. Pressure gone, quick ball use gone, structures gone. I'm not fussed if people think we are not good enough yet, but we have worked bloody hard this season to give ourselves a chance of one final and to watch that chance vanish meekly is like a punch in the guts.
  4. Maybe we should have been training at the shitty Junction Oval the last two weeks to acclimatise.
  5. He has been.... well I'll stop short of saying awful, cant handle the ball it seems the last two weeks, last week falling over, today fumbling a lot.
  6. Everything has gone to crap the last two weeks, is it just me, or did I see some of our players running up and down in the one spot in the last? Fair enough if the constant handballing is part of our game plan, but some of our decision making by hand seems like , here you have it, I can't be bothered with it. Are our players cooked?
  7. I like your support mate but the North game was winnable last week too.
  8. Today we got blown away by a quicker and more skilled midfield early, we had no answer for a 15 minute onslaught. Last week hurts a lot more and for those that said last week wasn't horrible, think again.
  9. Heres my 3 word analysis! F%#K THIS [censored]!!!!!
  10. You know you are going well when umpire 18 awards a free to Oscar and calls him Robinson.
  11. Seriously, just put on netball bibs and stay in the designated areas. The coaching the last two weeks has been abysmal!!!
  12. At least last year we were in the hunt until the second last round, this year, pfffft!!!
  13. I hope no one turns up to the G next week!!! We have given all as supporters this season and yet the with the season on the line, we couldn't beat the 17th placed team and followed it up with a performance that's Northern Football League worthy.
  14. We have gone from definitely out to hammy concerns. I'm going to run with yours.
  15. http://bpmultihlsvod5257.ngcdn.telstra.com/vod/ingest_afl_melbourne_vod/2017/08/929556/VOD_Source/2017-08-03_04-58-58-5252/output_1100kbps_406p.mp4 Great video!!!
  16. Fair point Hardtack on the above. If we miss the finals by percentage I will feel a lot better knowing all of a sudden a lot of people predicted the result against North and felt the need to gloat about their financial success on the game by betting on North. All I was trying to say in my initial post, is that hopefully they are burning from their performance last week and come out this week and make some kind of statement. To be honest, excuses are wearing thin with me.
  17. Correct, such is the fine margin for me between joy or disappointment.
  18. How did you feel after the loss? Did i state worst loss? Read properly mate! The feeling after the game by most of us wasn't an enjoyable one to say the least, I certainly felt horrible after it. In the context of the season it was a massive loss.
  19. Were the players gutted as much as we were after the North loss? Were they filthy with themselves as much as we were made to feel? It was a horrible loss, as horrible as I can remember. They have almost let the season slip away, a season where they have worked their backsides off to give themselves and their long suffering fans every conceivable chance of some September action. All I want this week is a RESPONSE!!!
