  1. Deplorable standard of football all round.
  2. I said it after the Richmond game, it's as if Roos has tightened a few screws and he is now using his ability for good instead of evil.
  3. That was a significant moment for me.
  4. Fair to say Dom Barry isn't overly exciting me.
  5. He will never put his body on the line, it's just not in his DNA.
  6. The worst thing about that was he drifted off his line meaning the umpire called play-on. He essentially went from having a free kick to a kick under pressure for no reason at all. Dumb.
  7. I just saw a score for the first time, doesn't sound too good.
  8. I can't believe you know so many North players. Most of their players blend into a blue and white blur to me.
  9. I find it interesting that this story hasn't been nearly as big as who Jake King hangs out with.
  10. We should have introduced this during the tanking investigation.
  11. I was surprised Trengove had so many possessions. He was much better, but I'm not popping champagne corks just yet.
  12. Not sure but if you kick a goal from outside the 50 metre line it's worth nine points, apparently.
  13. I saw the stats and assumed he was the sub.
  14. I'd throw Morton into that group too, albeit with less natural ability than the other two.
  15. I would say Tom McDonald becoming a good kick of the football is more likely to happen than this.
  16. Very good skills for a big man and that goal he kicked was first-class.
  17. According to Dermott he was working hard off the ball which is good. He looks to have replaced a fair bit of fat with muscle, handy depth at the very least.
  18. I was impressed with JKH's run and decision making as much as anything. He is just such a smart player, but funnily enough a lot of what he does is so basic, yet so many players seem unable to do it.
  19. This had the potential to be a massive reality check. Geelong won't allow Melbourne to hold possession like Richmond did.
  20. Funnily enough there was a fair bit of long kicking by Melbourne, it's just the short kicking and hand balling had purpose and structure.
  21. I was pleasantly surprised, his bodywork was fantastic and he didn't look out of place at this level. Still the worst kicking action I've ever seen but he was effective by foot.
