Hopefully McKenzie comes back in as the sub again.

Why put a player on an injury list if they are "available"? I've never understood this.

The amazing thing is Hawthorn can only manage around 28,000 people to a Friday night game against Port, I'd hate to see their fans when things are bad. We've been bloody resilient for a fan base that have been through so much and have a fraction of the supporters and members that a team like Hawthorn has.

Some serious questions asked about Paul Roos ...

That win was as good as a loss. -
He was just stating the obvious really, nothing to get too excited about.

I think that's all fair and reasonable argument, in particular the introvert comment which is why the likes of Garland, Grimes and Howe fill me with little confidence. The speed is a worry, but good teams can still play quickly without leg speed, however I would hope we are doing everything can to trade for Harley Bennell.

No doubt the skills are his weakness, but I can't remember the last time an untried player with some many positive attributes (outside of Hogan) walked into our team. I guarantee if he was playing on the weekend he wouldn't have put up such a weak effort. If we can land just one more player of this type for a bargain price then it will fast-track the development of a lot of our younger players.

They've broken me.

Without doubt, the biggest recruiting success and bargain of this year has been Aaron vandenBerg. Strong, big bodied, goes hard for the ball and the man, with decent enough skills and can play in a variety of positions. The fact that he was physically developed enough to play day one was also a huge bonus. He isn't just another Magner who faded after a promising start, this guy can seriously play and will play for many years to come. Therefore, what other players like vandenBerg are out there in state leagues who can step up and provide instant support and depth to our midfield?

Normally I'm all for players who can improve the team right now, just not convinced about Lynch but happy to be wrong.

Bloody good player, has shown commitment to the club through the darkest times. I'm all for trading senior players but not Jones, he deserves success in the red and blue.

I can't believe you haven't told us what Lloyd said. -
I just don't see a player like Lynch as a priority. I'd prefer more midfielders.

After taking a mark, unless you know you a clear to play on, rotate around immediately so that you are facing the goals you are kicking to (so you don't drift off your line and accidentally get called to play on) and quickly move back behind the mark to give yourself enough space to kick the ball without pressure from the man on the mark.

These quotes again make me feel like Roos is distancing himself from the club. -
Father's Day v GWS - who will be there?

I might go for a laugh and then a cry. -
The problem is the chances are the players who come in won't be all that much better.
